How wonderful. As a NV200 owner I am impressed how Nissan bends me over for substandard tires that only last 18K miles and then charges 175.00 each for replacements which are the only tires available and then ONLY at the dealership. Dont buy one unless you want to spend 700.00 every 18K miles for tires.

Thats an important information. I am thinking to buy a caddy who drives 100times better and the only downside is the shorter loadingspace inside. The caddy has standard tires tho.

Good job on the Nissan NV200 cargo and Taxi. We own a Nissan NVP SL and my wife wants an NV200 in a passenger version with windows. Not available in the US. Come on Nissan.

The ford door opening width is miss-leading here. Because the door can open all the way around backwards and attach to the side with magnetic latch

I saw some missing points that makes ford transit a great choice, maybe because I owns one and I love it 🤔

I think he meant to say that the NV200 Road-side door is small enough that it won’t be a traffic issue, whereas you first have to swing the bigger transit door out into traffic then flatten it..

Why the heck is Nissan comparing the new NV200 to a previous generation Transit connect. Obviously the Transit Connect must be better if Nissan has to resort to comparing their van to an outdated one.
@1966johnnywayne5 жыл бұрын
I was surprised to see the first gen Connect in the background as well, but when I looked into it, it appears that there is some model design overlap. It's not really all that uncommon for manufacturers to build two different generations concurrently, take Dodge for example, currently building two different platforms of the Ram truck.

I especially enjoyed the feature where build quality is so poor that I had to drive 30 miles to the special dealership that will service it, 6 times before my first payment! The not responding to emails to the customer relations department is also a great feature. saves me the trouble of ever buying another Nissan, or anyone I ever meet not hearing about my horrible experience! thanks Nissan for really thinking through those little things.

Car sales are too aggressive in the USA. The Nissan NV200 is a great van and so is the Ford Transit Connect. Some people are just really biased.

Indeed.... I'm OK with compare/contrast videos, and opinions... but to call the Transit Connect a bad van is a major stretch.

Very nice indeed... We have been doing very well with these! We have found that the Highway Fuel Economy is higher than listed on the sticker, and have several customers to back that up!

Sneaky how when the ladder is shown in the nv200 seems like the view is from a slightly higher angle on the camera and looks to be longer than when the ladder is shown in the ford at a lower angle not allowing you to properly see the difference. I don’t think that is fair. I had an nv200 and it was decent but am looking at the ford connect as it’s taller and more room inside.

Nice I would buy it but you guys don't sell the passenger versions that I see in Japan. Then again I'll just wait for the taxi version to get old buy one and then strip all that taxi crap off.

25 mpg for a cargo van is better than a decade ago (still borderline)...but why do the euro versions of the NV200 get almost 50 mpg?
@BTP626 жыл бұрын
The 2 liter is the only engine and CVT trans. for the U.S. the others are too under powered.
@taradead6 жыл бұрын
not quite understanding what you mean. Are you saying the US versions have much more power than the gas sipping euro versions?
@BTP626 жыл бұрын
The U.S. model has a 2 liter 138hp gas engine with automatic transmission only.
@BTP626 жыл бұрын
The us gets as far as i know the most powerful engine only. The high milage diesel are not offered in U.S. there is no choses of engine or transmission in U.S. models.the engines the U.S. dont get are; gas 1.5,1.6 and 1.5 diesel. They all get better milage but make less power.
@taradead6 жыл бұрын
Benny Powell Yeah, I see that diesel is only 1.5 Liter and not even 100 hp...fine for going slow on flat roads, but cant imagine anything heavy cargo related.
