It was the company's second movie, it was back when they didn't change the fairy tales to be more kid friendly. I'm not saying that was a good thing, but I watched the movie in 3rd grade and was surprised about how there was swearing in a Disney movie. Nevertheless, it was still a good movie and the ride was still good as well.

I remember as a kid too being shocked to hear "Jackass" in a kid's movie. I'm honestly surprised in today's uptight world that they didn't remove that dialog from the ride. Not that I'd consider this swearing but in Cars (film), Lightning mentions that he's in "Hillbilly Hell" which kind of shocked me to hear that too lol.

Tbh, this is one of the dark rides I wouldn't be crushed to see replaced (you know a few of them are vulnerable in the next couple decades). I could deal with seeing this and Alice and Wonderland go (although I'd be especially sad about the latter), as long as they kept Peter Pan, Mr. Toad's Wild Ride, and Snow White's Scary Adventures (especially the first two).

GreenGretel They'll be keeping Peter Pan for the forceable future. It's consistently long lines will make sure that it is going to stay in the park. It's also being refurbished as we speak. Pinocchio's Daring Journey and Snow White's Scary Adventures might be gone eventually though. All the other Mr Toad's Wild Rides have been shut down at the other parks, so it's future is on the line. And Alice in Wonderland was recently refurnished so it won't be replaced anytime soon either.

Have you checked out the original WDW version of Snow White, before 1991 (I think that was the year)? It's when the Queen... uh... 'wins.' I never rode it, but looking at footage I'd imagine it'd have scared me pissless as a little kid. lol
