Apparently you aren't familiar with NCAA rankings. Southern is ranked as having the #1 precision drilling band in the nation for 2013. Beating out all white and hbcu collegiate marching bands. Just google NCAA rankings. Southern has made it in the top 5 for years. We are just behind Ohio St. SU THE ONLY HBCU band to make the top 5. ASU didn't even make the cut...LOL. Those rankings are based on drilling techniques. I love ASU band because they're a hbcu band and also good. They just not on SU's level. Southern destroyed them in that beautiful new stadium. I do give them their props for trying to hang with the Human Jukebox. That's just impossible to do.
