I HATE THE PLASTIC!!!! I broke a few pieces but getting everything back inside the door was even more frustrating than I could have imagined. Poor mechanical engineering on Volvo's part. Thanks for the vid showing how to release the window was very helpful ...

We are twins on this subject. I loss a lot of religion after breaking my plastic handle and striping the t25 screw in the door 😅 I can laugh now but I was cursing the whole time. Now I can do the whole job in 20 minutes. You showed in video everything I had to figure out. 😎

I haven't had any trouble with the motor but the latch won't latch door flew open going down the road got a new one latch won't lock something I'm missing???

My 2012 S60 is giving me a door open warning even though the door is closed. Could this be the problem?

How do you put the window back in?

Slide it down and have it clip back into the white clips at the bottom from what I recall. It's the reverse of taking it out.

Did you get around to disassemble the old one to clean the motor? Mine went and it comes and goes, so I think it is just a dirty motor. I have a 2015 V60, which unfortunately not part of the recall...

More news on that as of the other day. The dealer just replaced all 4-Actuators under a recall. They kept my good one, the wife was to call today and get that one back as it's mine as I bought it and it's good. Save some money and take yours in for the recall.
