Awesome review. I have owned a 2012 CC Lux plus with the back up camera for about 15 months now. I wish mine had the revised tail lights but not this new corporate front grille (although I won't mind the new LED headlights). I also prefer my rear bucket seats than the there seater which isn't really practical. Again, great detailed review.

The Lux trim level includes everything found on the Sport Plus, plus 18" alloy wheels, interior ambient lighting, dark brushed aluminum trim on the dashboard, doors, and center console. The sunroof pops up but doesn't slide due to the extreme curve of the roof and size of the glass panel.

I love VW but the power symbol revolves as you turn the knob, that bothers me. Minor flaw.

Mileage is variable according to your driving style and where you drive. However, I get reports of 32 mpg on the highways from my customers regularly. I also have heard averages (both city and highway driving) of 26 mpg. The levels are all varied. Mostly, every trim tier adds more luxury items. For example, the Sport Plus adds navigation. The Lux adds a panoramic moonroof and different wheels. The V6 Lux adds Wood and LED internal ambient lighting. The Executive adds cooled seats with massage.

It actually is proportional to the amount of additional features found in the base model now. They have nicer computers, alarms, xenon headlamps with LED daytime running lights and LED taillights standard now. The base price went up i relation to the additional features they added.

Detailed review. ! I also hear that 2013 CC has some bit of advanced safety features such as blind spot monitoring and lane departure warning. are those standard in all the models? Is it possible to add rear view camera in sport plus or lux as an option ?

I will be doing more, definitely. The fastest VW right now 0 to 60 is the Golf R. That is 5.5 seconds. The second fastest, interestingly, is the Passat V6 at 5.7 seconds.

Steve Miller You can say "Music" which starts playing music from the bluetooth connected device but you cannot choose specific tracks. The CC uses an MDI cable which will either be a 30 pin connector for iPhone 4 and earlier or a lightning connector for the current iPhone models. A USB cigarette lighter adapter can be purchased and used as well.

I've seen no issues after 40 to 50 k miles. In fact, I have seen nothing but reliability well through 150k and up.
