2013 Yamaha Vstar 1300 review

This is my first review to make and first video to edit so I apologize for it not being that great. If you would like me to go in depth on anything I will gladly make another video. Im gonna try and make a video riding it soon when the weather lightens up. Thanks for watching

the only gripe I have with the Yamaha Vstar 1300 is the valve tappet adjustment. The dealer will get you for $400 at the 16K mile service interval. I have 28K miles on my '08 1300 and I did the tappet adjustment twice already. It is a pain in the butt however you save some big $$$ if you do it yourself. My bike had zero problems at 28K miles, just tire changes, rear brake pads, spark plugs and air filter. By the way your 1300 Tour Deluxe in blue metallic looks gorgeous. Might be my next bike next year. Enjoy

Thanks for the video! Currently have a 2014 Yamaha Bolt (950) Super fun bike and easy to run to work and around town. The bike has plenty of power to get up and haul tail, yet one thing I do not care for is the gear spacing. It seems to run at a higher RPM going 68-75 than I'd like to do for a long trip Even though it has plenty of power, not the most comfortable... The reviews on this bike have been great, Just wondering how it handles going down the freeway ( wind, noise, vibration...etc) Thanks again for posting the video!

The bike handles great going down the highway. The noise is loud but that's due to the cobra slip on exhaust I have installed. Wind is not bad at all with the windshield that comes with it. Most of the wind is coming up from the forks and over the gas tank but it's just enough to be comfortable and not be a bother. I can run 70-75 comfortably but if you get 80 and above it runs high rpm but it's not like it's straining the bike to run over 80 or anything just uncomfortable. I might try and get a video of some highway riding soon.

I read this bike is bluetooth capable. Can you use a standard MP3 player or android phone or do you have to use an apple product?
