Despite all the 3 pointers the Mavs had, it was surprisingly a very close game, it's incredible seeing Carter and Dirk still being such threatening offensive players after all these years in the league, hope the Mav's can finish the season strong

Dirk Nowitzki ranking in 2k14 are as follows: 3points, Mid Jumpshot, Close Jumpshot, Inside Jumpshot, Post Fadeaway are 90+ respectively , but everytime I watch dirk nowitzki play , I felt like his rating should be at around all 95 or 99% on this category. especially when the defense is right on his face. still knocks it down. now I know why Dirk is the most underrated player in the NBA , his ranking in the nba 2k12 , 2k13 and 2k14 are 85 on all 3 YEARS !!! , I like dirk but I didn't use dirk b'coz it's hard to use him , his shot motion is slow, I hope the 2k sports should fix it , because he had a high arching 3 but he can release his shots faster.

anesthesia05 YES that's the point , nowitzki is nearing retirement , compared to those highflyers like D.ROSE nad L.James , as you could see he maintained to be healthy for all of his career in the NBA , and everytime I watched him as he gets older , he keeps getting better , ( though slower :-) ) and everytime he shots the ball with a defender right in his face only with a rating of 83% ? I hate you 2k sports , his rating should be 90 or even 95 on Mid Shots, Close Shots, 3points, Post FadeAway and Offense , what 2k was doing is , while dirk nowitzki is getting older he's stats is getting lower. While on the otherhand . . . . Kobe Bryant is injured for the whole 2013 - 2014 season (whoever gets to be championed this 2014 nba finals) I'm very Fcuking sure that Kobe Bryants rating would still be at 90 or 92+ no 2k sports ain't fair :-(

Raphael Yuchengko dirk just got 83 because his defense rating is just on 67 (or something like that) but his offense is like 90 or higher, though i think he is an underrated defender

NagsorInaste1337 well im sure as hell that EVEN if Kobe Bryant didn't play in the 2014 season in the NBA 2K15 im sure as hell that he'll have a 90+ rating . . . . I hope they make dirk like 87 or 88 , this is a complete insult to a player who plays healthy while D.ROSE and Bryant if they got injured they still got a rating of 90+ DEAR 2K sports let's just be biased , I think they made Kobe's rating at 90+ is because he had 6 championship rings and how about D.ROSE ??? he still even had 90+ rating even though he is injured. 2K sports is more like business (in harsh reality) because they all knew that D.Rose had many fans so if they increased the rating of the player customer would enjoy playing this game. While me being a fan of a healthy dirk nowitzki is sad because of his current rating even though he is old he managed to play healthy in most of his career. sorry to tell this 2k sports unless there is an improvement on Dirk's stats THERE'S NO WAY IN HELL I'LL BUY THAT FCUKING VIDEO GAME OF YOURS !! F.U F.U F.U , I will not buy the 2k15 if Dirk's rating is unimproved. the same goes to other players who managed to play healthy but with little rating , they increased the rating of players WHO are most favored (talking about marketability) -_- this is a harsh reality for me and thanks for the info.

***** He averages 10 rebounds a game for his career in the Playoffs. He's a good rebounder when it counts. You have to understand, Dirk is a perimeter forward, so he isn't going to grab 13 rebounds for a whole season. Also, his defense is vastly underrated. His teams have always been better defensively when he was on the floor, he's also an above average post defender.

the Knicks, evidently, have zero defence. look at 2:09 when the players are scrambling and Melo is the only one on the court guarding his man. We see that THJ JR all scramble, especially THJ. What the hell is he doing? Melo the only one guarding his man. Knicks had a horrendous season, Melo the only one who put in work. JR did as well but that was towards the end when he stopped untying niggas shoes

What can you expect over the years the dallas mavericks is a shooting team and not a high flying team , they are paying too much attention to Dirk forgetting the other players , I just wondered if Peja didn't retire and plays another year for the mavericks , I wonder how deadly those 2 players would be on a team . as they K.O the L.A Lakers 4 - 0 in the 2011 nba playoffs

no foul was ordered by coach basically the right play for NY. foul any Dallas = auto lose for NY as you cant expect them to miss a free throw. that shot was tough enough for Dirk, he could have missed that shot and NY is ok with overtime.
