Followed this video to the letter and replaced the crappy aftermarket touchscreen-only radio (which made the backup camera and steering wheel controls useless) with a factory radio. Probably saved a ton of money thanks to knowing this. Thanks!

And yes, installing the factory radio means I now have a backup camera and steering wheel controls again. Plus better sound

How did you remove the grey cord (for Aux/usb input) mine is stuck and it’s so frustrating 😭. I don’t wanna rip it out

Will this with with an ebay android auto deck that specifically says 2014, 2015, 2016 corolla and the dash picture in the eBay item says for this style dash (shows the same dash as in your video and the same one I have) like it even says the steering wheel controls will work with the android auto deck. Do you think it will be a simple pop the old one out pop the new one in deal like this was?

Didn’t you have to deal with security codes? As far as I understand that’s one of the main issues when replacing the factory radio.

The bottom left of my touchscreen doesn't work. Is that fixable by just adjusting a connection or would I need a new radio entirely?

Do the card trick , slide the card in between the crack line on the bottom left and it should work. After that it’ll be sensitive to ur finger touch again

I try to replace the OEM Radio unit from my car, the new one never worked, I have a blown radio fuse, replace it and nothing; I re-installed the OEM radio and now I have the transmission stuck in parked,slip signal light on and low tire pressure also on… wtf!! Anyone has this issue after replacing a radio??!
