Nice I'm so glad you were able to get it all done, loving the end, with the human errors when recording 👍

I'm trying to improve my videos with each one. Time to start using some of that video footage that hits the cutting room floor when I mess up.

Any sounds associated with this change being needed or preventative?
@RetroCarGuy530 Жыл бұрын
No sounds, just preventative with over 111K miles on the car when I purchased it.

@@RetroCarGuy530 gotcha. In the same boat suspension firm but got a knocking when I turn at low speed heading toward lock left. Prob gonna just throw the kitchen sink at the front end at 174k state police retiree. Then the bulletproofing of the engine can commence

At 10:12 you needed to use the other foot. Only 'flaw' I could find.
@RetroCarGuy5303 жыл бұрын
Good point. I could have minimized the amount of travel the base of the spring compressor had by using the other foot.

Hey I can’t find any outer tie rods for my 2013. I even ordered them on GM Parts website and the driver side outer tie rod was canceled and the passenger side they’re saying doesn’t fit my application and gave me an alternative part number. Any ideas?

The ACDelco website part lookup feature shows the GM original equipment part numbers of 19259257 left outer / 19259258 right outer. The ACDelco Profession (GOLD) part numbers: left outer => 45A2470 - ACDelco/19312652 - GM / right outer: 45A2471 - ACDelco/19312653 - GM. That's about all I'll be able to contribute on this topic.

@@RetroCarGuy530 I knew you were the right guy to ask. Was just telling my dad and granddad I seen a pair of ACDelcos on Amazon for $56. We haven tried those yet.
