2014-2020 GM trucks V6 to V8 conversion how to

Would be neat to see if it is possible to do a manual conversion, if it is, what parts/programming would be involved, go from Gen 5 with a 6L80 or 8L80 Flywheels for automatic Gen5 engines exist, and obviously the TR6060 and all that are bolt in, but the programming and harness changes would be interesting to know about

You should try and figure out a harness for 10 speed swap transmission

Did you use the original 6L80 transmission or the factory fuel line going to the fuel rail?

I have a few questions for you. I have a 2017 Silverado with the 4.3. The engine is on its way out. I have a 2015 5.3 out of a Tahoe and just trying to figure out exactly what I need. I have HP tuners so I can do adjustments and stuff in the computer. Can I reflash my PCM for a V8 or do I need to purchase a V8 PCM?

I just completed a 4.3 v6 to l83 v8 engine swap on a 2015 silverado with a 2016 silverado 5.3. it fires up and runs and everything, but getting a code for the flex fuel sensor. the truck was originally equipped with flex fuel from the factory, the donor engine/harness and ecm were also used from the 2016 5.3 unit. is there a wiring change i need to swap for this?

Hey Mitch. I have a few questions I need your help with. I had to buy a Tehcum for my 6L80 and might need you to help me reset adaptive’s. I’ve been fight this transmission all summer and have spent about $3500 on getting it rebuilt. Total nightmare 🤦🏾‍♂️

This is my truck and the reason I went with the V8 was due to the V6 going out on me twice. Otherwise I would left the V6 in there.
