during and right after the race they don't bleed. Its when they race every other week for 10 years that they start too bleed

@@levlev.1028 No, exercise induced pulmonary hemorrhage isn’t from racing often it’s from racing out of shape. It’s from a fast increase in blood pressure when the adrenaline increases and the pressure of the bloodstream gets higher than can be contained by veins and arteries. If a horse is in good condition, meaning it’s been exercised frequently and properly, it shouldn’t have an EIPH issue. Many horses run 20, 30 or even 50 races without ever bleeding. But again, bleeding is from “too much, too soon, too much“ without being in proper shape. A horse naturally increases drastically in blood pressure when it runs, it’s just how they are. But when they are not in proper shape by race day it’s like running the Alaskan Pipeline through a garden hose. There’s going to be a leak somewhere.

First off... "Lunges"??? Like a long line??? If you mean lungs, their lungs don't bleed 😂 internal hemorrhage is caused by running out of shape. Not running itself.
