2014 Audi RS6 Avant (560hp) - DRIVE & SOUND (1080p)

This week I present to YOU a super thrilling Drive & Sound test with the awesome sounding RS6 delivering 560 hp and 700 Nm of torque! My special thanks, once again, go to Autohaus Küver (www.kuever.com) that provided this exclusively equipped car for our video shoot, guys you are awesome! This car comes with all options that you can imagine, having the "Dynamic Plus Package" (Ceramics, Sport Differential, 305 km/h limiter) and the optional "Sports exhaust". It sits on 21 inch wheels with 285 mm tires and is painted in "Panther-Black-Cristaleffect", probably the best "black" you can buy today. Talking a bit about driving this car I really have to admit that I didn't expect the RS6 to handle this good and sporty. After several drives with BMW M6s and Merc 63 AMGs I was really surprised how "tail-happy" this car behaves in Dynamic mode. Of course the road conditions were't perfect for 700 Nm and summer-tires but whereas everything is comfortable and relaxed in "Auto" this car really feels like a racer in "Dynamic". The way that this car can change its character is outstanding to me and also unique in its class. Anyhow, now I would like to hear your opinion about the RS6, what are your thoughts or questions? Epic! The one I drove didn't have the sport exhaust, and the difference does show. Great, great sounds. Excellent car overall, in my opinion, far superior to it's rivals. At least it needs no sound pumped or enhanced through the radio, like the BMW. And is prettier and has a better all wheel drive than the equivalent Mercedes E63S

Irgendwie der perfekte Allrounder. Gefällt mir besonders in Sepangblau sehr gut. Stichwort "tail-happy", hier ein Video von einem 700 PS ABT-RS6: /watch?v=TvXZ_YhReug Eigentlich, Wahnsinn wie der trotz Allrad driftet. Ach ja, der Besitzer hat übrigens auch einen 458 Speciale und einen LaFerrari, musst du dir mal seine Videos ansehen.

Live klingt der ganz gut, aber in dem Video echt katastrophal. Die Front bei Audi sieht immer wieder echt Hammer aus, zumindest RS6 und die gesamte S-Line Palette. Aber hinten und der Innenraum gehen bei Audi gar nicht..echt schlimm :( Von der Beschleunigung hätte ich bisl mehr erwartet. Nur 2,2 Sekunden schneller auf 200 als ein VERSUS M135i :-/

Oh man, an diesem Auto gibt es nicht viel, was mir nicht gefällt, allenfalls das hohe Gewicht. Ansonsten sind es genau solche Autos, die die Faszination ausmachen. Dieser RS6 ist ein Stück automobile Perfektion. Meine Frage nach dem Sound hat sich hiermit auch erledigt :-).

Great video as always. I have a question when you get this car to make the video did they give you the car with a full tank of gas? And if so how many kilometres did the computer show on the screen? Because when you where testing the top speed the computer was showing 520 km and it started to fall to 500 KM of course. When you are driving on 4 cylinders do you see a lot of differences? Thank you keep doing videos like this.

The tank was full, but the range in km always depends on the driving style over the Last 80 km or so. So if they just moved it at the dealership it will always Show a lower range than possible. If you drive it calmly in 4-cylinder Mode you will probably get up to 650 and 11-12 liter, but if you floor it it'll take 20 liters or more, making 400 km. So there is a huge difference depending on your driving style. Hope that helps!

also für 25K Nagelneu mit Perfomance Pack und 14K günstiger als der JCW würde ich dann doch den Coirsa OPC nehemn,man wäre ja verrückt 14K mehr zu bezahlen für die geringfügige mehr Performance die der Mini bietet........

Sven Honkomp Jaja, ich bin momentan auch hin- und hergerissen. Vergleich man die Vollkosten (Sprit, Versicherung, Wertverlust, Steuer,...) dann trennen beide bei geringer Fahrleistung nur so 50-75 EUR im Monat, liegt an der Wertstabilität des MINI. Da würde dann zum JCW greifen, allerdings muss man dann auch eben 14k EUR mehr aus der Hand geben bzw. finanzieren. Ich werde den JCW wahrscheinlich in den nächsten 14 Tagen mal in natura sehen können und evtl. schon einen kleinen Sound-Check machen, er muss für den Preis halt schon sehr überzeugend sein;)

@AutomannTV,heute habe ich gegen einen S3 als Limosine kleines Rennen gehabt,auf der Autobahn mit meinen Corsa D OPC NRE,ich muss sagen,der S3 geht aber Mächtig ab,ich hatte nichts zu Melden,und der Sound von dem Ding war auch ganz gut,ich weiss bloss nicht ob der auch getunt war,auf jedenfall hatte der DSG und ist wirklich schnell,du fährst doch auch einen S3 oder?Kennzeichen von dem S3 war Steinfurt.is dann auf die A29 Richtung Oldenburg gefahren. Also der Motor ist echt überzeugend,hoffentlich bringt Opel mal bald sowas Raus^^

Sven Honkomp Ja, der S3 geht wirklich unverschämt gut...da konnte ich mich in meinem heute gerade noch einmal von überzeugen;) Das der getunt war muss gar nicht mal sein, da die Motor wohl eher Richtung 320 PS haben, die Sport Auto hat den TTS mit gleichem Motor auf 323 PS und 420 Nm getestet und so fühlt er sich auch mindestens an. Auf der A29 Richtung OL bin ich zwar auch häufiger unterwegs aber habe kein Steinfurter Kennzeichen. Habe übrigens diese Woche nun ein Angebot für einen neuen Corsa OPC Perf. Pack bekommen, und der Nachlass ist wirklich nicht schlecht auf die Dinger....alter Motor hin- oder her, das sind 14.000 EUR weniger als für einen JCW mit ähnlicher Ausstattung.

Sven Honkomp Ich habe ein Angebot in Kaiserslautern eingeholt, aus Diskretionsgründen werde ich den Nachlass nicht nennen, aber der Gesamtpreis lag bei ca. 25k EUR für einen gut ausgestatteten Corsa OPC Perf. Pack, allerdings in meinem Falle mit Gewerbekonditionen.

Amine Jlassi Yes, I have driven the M5 and I think its a matter of taste which one you prefer. In dry conditions and on the Autobahn the M5 will be a bit quicker than the RS6, because the BMW BiTurbo has probably 600 hp in stock configuration already. In terms of handling I really was surprised how good the Audi feels, really the M5 is a great drivers car but the Audi comes surprisingly close, plus it has the traction advantage in all conditions. Talking about conditions, driving like in this video with an M5 would not been possible or very dangerous because its all the power to the real wheels. The sound also goes to the RS6 as long as it has the sports exhaust.....so hard to say which one, but for me personally it would be the RS6;) Hope it helps...

I am not so lucky as you, I have never driven one of them, but after my acquaintances, Audi has alot bénificie expert knowledge of the sports team (Races 24 hours or DTM) this is, I see alot of intellegence to level the use of alumunuim for Body, sharing the weight on the frame which allows the center of gravity closer to the slopes or is brilliant 4WD system "Quattro", which not only the sole glue chard and make alot more secure, but also gained a few thousandths of seconds to accelerations ...

Automann-TV There's a lot of contradiction about which one is faster between the SL 63 (with Performance Pack) and the SL 65. I really hope you could give us the answer.
