How many times are you going to say “My mother”? How does the thing drive? That is why you buy a BMW.

How is it one year later? Any crazy maintenance costs? I am thinking about getting one with 60k miles too.
@MrWhiteboy573 Жыл бұрын
Would you recommend this car and how much are you spending on maintenance a year? I’m looking at a 2014 with 90k miles but worried if I should get it or not. Worried it’s gunna have tons of things go wrong with it cause I’ve read up that it’s not very reliable.

my dad is thinking of getting the 335i GT in Luxury or sport trim or the 535d touring(EU spec 313hp) just thinking of fuel consumption, its stated 7.7L/100km for the 335iA but i doubt it will go under 8... But how are the speakers in the GT? Here it comes with crap ones (apperently) as standard, and you have 2 options, the hi-fi (700USd) or the HK pro some 2K USd. Are the standard ones any good?

I know this is an old video but do you remember if there’s blind spot monitoring? Some articles say that there is but I haven’t been able to locate that feature. I just purchased a 2015.
@ACCORDingtoTom2 жыл бұрын
It may have been optional. This car did not have it, nor did the 2017 that replaced it.

I know now. Thank you for answering. The car is great!!!! Thanks for posting. It was helpful.

That sucks about the bluetooth issues. I had the same problem switching to an iPhone, it's pretty much universal to all vehicles with text message reading capabilities for the moment. The Fusion always read text messages on my "antique" enV3 but it won't read iPhone messages.
@ACCORDingtoTom10 жыл бұрын
For the most part, bluetooth does work. But yeah, the text message function not working is unfortunate. :(

Instead of turning off the auto/stop just tell her to switch to SPORT mode, it is easier and it will allow better driving experience specially during stop light take offs and will disable auto/stop. I have a 428i Coupe and I do that every time I drive. I would recommend a 19 inch rim or at least 18'' for a sportier look. I am considering this car for my wife to replace her Acura TSX sport-wagon, thanks for the review!

Other than the steering, how's the car handle compared to the 2011? I've only driven previous gen 3 series.
@ACCORDingtoTom10 жыл бұрын
The GT is definitely a bigger car- it's a good handler though. You definitely feel it's extra weight (it's almost 4000 pounds) and it's a bit more top heavy because of the raised ride height.

Good follow up. I have the same blue tooth issues with several generation iPhones (4, 5s, 6). I also have noticed my live traffic isn't always showing and a reboot (turning car off/on) is the only way to fix. Also getting lots of carbon deposits out of the rear exhaust. It's very tough to clean. Was told it will go away at 20k miles. At 17k now. We shall see. Love everything else about the car.

Just ordered a 335GT. Mostly for the same reasons. I can't stand to see myself coming and going, so I needed something different. Also the backseat. I drive my parents around a lot, and coming from a 750Li, a regular 3 just didn't cut it. Just curious, what was the sticker on that car and how much is the lease?
@ACCORDingtoTom10 жыл бұрын
The 335i GT's are quick machines! Great choice. The sticker for ours was $47,290 or something like that... the lease is $449 a month for 36 months with $2000 down.
@MikeL-FL10 жыл бұрын
I like it, but it was way more expensive. Sticker on mine is $61,100, $663 a month for 36 with $2500 down.
@ACCORDingtoTom10 жыл бұрын
Mike1nyny The 335i's are a bit more expensive, plus I'm sure yours is more well equipped than ours.

WHEN YOU OPEN UP THE HATCH BACK, WATER COMES INTO MY CAR WHEN EVER IT RAINS. THIS IS A DEFECT IN THE DESIGN! DOES ANYONE ELSE HAVE THE SAME COMPLAINT?
@Go4Do6 жыл бұрын
Pretty late response so hopefully you had it figured out already: your drainage holes in the hatchdoor are probably blocked. You need to raise the spoiler and rinse out the H-shaped holes.
