The 90% to the rear wheels torque transfer is more than 70% from Acura SH-AWD!

I'm thinking about buying a pre owned one maybe by the beginning of next year. Good car for the money. I had a Impala had it for 8 years very good car. Got a pre owned Camry Se Sport Last year already having some issues with it. I think I'm going back to GM. I always like Buick, and the fact I'm only 36 and a Bachelor its unheard off. Most Bachelors my age if it's not a luxury car it's a muscle car. But I want a car that you don't see at every stop light. Like BMW , Acura etc

I rented a non-turbo Regal 2 years ago and, while slow, I very much enjoyed my week with it. It's a shame it's usually overlooked in favor of cars like the Volvo S60, also a good car, and outdated Acura TSX, on its way out.
@sage11x10 жыл бұрын
The TSX is horrendously overpriced as well but I'd still rather have one of those. It drives better and while still bland as toast at least the TSX looks distinct from the lower car. You. An barely tell the Verono and this apart!

In fact it's an european Opel Insignia with a bigger engine (here most popular are diesel versions, the top of those is 2.0 biturbo 195 HP - the best petrol version is 2.8 V6 Turbo with over 300 HP).

If only they had actually brought the wagon or hatch versions of this they were rumoured to over here :/ it's a great car to drive, test drove one yesterday

What are some of the gripes about the interior build quality? Panel gaps, cheap materials, or loose trim/rattles? Thanks.

Nice interior and side profile. Nice option to Lexus and BMW.

This buick does not look bland
@bassistdc10 жыл бұрын
I agree. It's the one Buick that catches my eye and isn't bland.

I'm confused on the price. I went to the dealership today and the 2015 model with the same trim is only $31k. I definitely want the 2014 version, but I'm going to wait until the 2016 comes out for more depreciation on the 2014 model, then it should only be $20k.
@raomraom10768 жыл бұрын
+Sinbreaker When are the 2016 coming out?
@sinbreaker28858 жыл бұрын
RAOM RAOM Based on previous models, probably not until the first quarter of 2016.

How does this compare with the Cadillac ATS 2.0T AWD? Since it cost so much less and larger, I feel like this makes a better car than (and value) than the ATS.

40k?? Barnum did say there was a sucker born every minute...

Well, yeah, if you're saying you pay MSRP sticker for your cars.

Nice car. I'm old enough to like Buicks now, but I'd still like a manual transmission on it
@romanseano9 жыл бұрын
Manual trans is available for order on front-drive GS models... and you must be somewhat younger than myself, since you just became "old enough to like Buicks now." So, early to mid-20's, I take it?
@JDubbs0710 жыл бұрын
Those wheels are actually my least favorite part about the exterior. I'd look at the option sheet for alternatives immediately.
@76carmel10 жыл бұрын
There is an option for better looking wheels.
@WNYfellow10 жыл бұрын
Wow - I really like that car - but I have to agree that the grumbling skeptics may have a point. $40K is high - Lexus ES and entry 3 class or C class territory. As i Recall, earlier iterations of the Regal Turbo (admittedly, without AWD) were around $31K. It's big leap for the middle class American guy to make.
@ThousanWhite10 жыл бұрын
You have a misplaced perception of Buick and what they have to offer. Buick wipes the floor with BMW and Mercedes when it comes to quality and reliability. You really need to do some research before you make knee jerk reactions to where Buick stacks up in the segment. Remember, $40k is the fully loaded AWD price. The FWD base model starts under $40k
@camaroman10110 жыл бұрын
Are people really this ignorant? The Regal starts at 29k, jouranlists almost always get a fully loaded test car. You have to look at the base price, not the as-tested price.
@camaroman10110 жыл бұрын
They should have kept the same grill size from the 2013, this just looks too big.
@peterbarbato314510 жыл бұрын
I disagree with his view of the design. He praises the Kia K900 2015 as wonderful design. Now that is bland and not expensive looking. I am a designer and i disagree with his comment: " The only good thing about the cars design are the wheels"" Is he for real!!

GM in my opinion has to get rid of the 6 speed auto and put a 7 or 8 speed gearbox in there cars, suvs and trucks to compete with Chrysler and there German rivals
@Bmackins9410 жыл бұрын
They really don't there truck's get best in class fuel economy even better than ram with the hemi and 8 speed auto and fords ecoboost v6
@codyallensiebert10 жыл бұрын
Bmackins94 at the cost of hp though. The silverado is on the low end of power of all the half ton trucks. Even the 6 cylinder ecoboost has more power
@Bmackins9410 жыл бұрын
cody siebert The 5.3 needs about 50 more horse power
@bigd122310 жыл бұрын
Id pay maybe $25k for that car
@romanseano9 жыл бұрын
I did, on Black Friday weekend when Buick was offering 20% of MSRP discount PLUS any available dealer discount, plus any specific consumer incentive (like owner loyalty voucher, etc). Just shop smart, and you might be surprised what deal you can get on a premium brand car.
@bellhon10 жыл бұрын
if anything, it's ONLY the wheels that's bland...
@sfiifs689110 жыл бұрын
nice car, but those wheels are horrible ugly. I do not understand how can a car manufacturer to offer such and such car rims. these valuvelgedl absolutely no design and the beauty of the car, and they are also very important. each affecting the appearance of the car wheels

WOW is that overpriced! Holy hell!
@ThousanWhite10 жыл бұрын
Overpriced based on what exactly?
@camaroman10110 жыл бұрын
Starting price is 29k, how is that overpriced?
@MultiMackDee10 жыл бұрын
ThousanWhite Based on the fact that it's a POS Opel, that's what.
@LongDrivesAtNight51509 жыл бұрын
MultiMackDee What do you mean by POS Opel? You don't like Opel, or you know something about them that I don't? From Euro auto reliability articles/publications that I have read, Opel seems to be a very reliable brand compared to other Euro manufacturers, or am I missing something?
