With an oil mess like that, I wouldn't warranty the starter repair. It wouldn't surprise me if the parts store rejected an oil covered return as well.

Do you have or have you ever used a "Tight reach" tool? I can't think of any times where it would have helped. Even on their commercials, they show them being used in a wide open space. Great video.

No, I’ve never used one but now that you mention it I think I’m gonna look into. It seems like everything I do is tight like that. Thanks for the tip. Also, send me a link if you have one.

I wipe down all of my tools after each job and I use brake clean on the wrenches and ratchets the battery-operated tools i don't use brake clean on just give them a good wipe down

Is there any torque specs we need to use or do we just hand tight everything

Hi Pete I have a question now I'm a new kid on the block when it comes to this compared to you and im not trying to be wise but shouldit the oil leak be fixed first or it will just happen again
@AutoRepairTips7579 ай бұрын
Absolutely, but when the customer is paying for it you can only do what they’ll pay for I tried to explain to the customer with the consequences are sometimes just not in their budget
