Same😂turns out under ur glove box there’s 2 filters I would change those after i did it worked there was no air gettin my thru the turbo

Hi, I also own a 2014 Fiat 500L. I ended up replacing the transmission. MOPAR is the place to buy it and they will credit back $2k after you ship your old transmission back to them. I first changed the computer module for it and it resolved the issue just for a week and cost labor and parts. The dealership had to drop the engine to replace the transmission. Also make sure to replace the EVAP valves. the transmission has internal sensors that are failing and no one works on these transmissions, they just replace them with a new one. Good luck. It will cost about $3k-5k . Also replace your batteriy's negative cable too.

I just picked it up from fiat dealer today and the said nothing could be done, that the transmission is about to die. They said it would cost $10k to replace. To take it to car max since it has not died yet and get rid of it. He explained the the 2014 500L trekking is the only year that has this transmission. I honestly don't know what to do.

I have the same problem, started with the shifter would not get off from park into drive or reverse. brought to the dealer and they clean some sensors $189 later same problem. 6 months later and error on the dash transmission service back to the dealer and they found the problem replaced the Smart drive unit $850 lasted for 5 miles that came back the same error. Back into the dealer now they found error U0019 and P1D6B they said they communicated with the manufacture and the response was replace the transmission. ONLY $11950. That is a defect on those transmission and the problem is nobody works on them. The error comes when the transmission warm up if I live off the gears goes in and drive. Screw again with Fiat. Live in Mass if somebody has an idea let me know.

Well, the car kind of fixed itself. But here, the starter was replaced because it didn't turn over. Now it refuses to engage in any gear, and when it catches a gear, it was either 2nd 4th or 6th.

So my solution was a new battery. Voltage to low and the transmission computer doesn't engage.@@kolby6119
