Fato putso Loving it! That 2.0 turbo really hauls when using premium fuel; yes, there is a significant performance difference between using regular vs. premium. Everyone who rides in it loves the car; the styling, features, roominess, the panoramic roof, and the leather upholstery. I was comparing this vehicle with the Honda CRV at time I made the purchase; the Honda is a fantastic vehicle and cost a little less but fell seriously short on features and creature comforts.
@bgtheo78918 жыл бұрын
1Drummer yup. Same here in regards to the crv (great car) just a bit on the boring spectrum. U just get so much more bang for the buck with the titanium edge. The 2.0 is a beast and I daily drove my m3 in the summer, so getting into the 2.0 does not feel slow by any measure.

Regarding the Park Assist, I'm like you, I live in an urban area where parallel parking is usually the only option for parking. I have a 2012 Ford Escape Limited which I purchased new without the Park Assist and I have not encountered a situation where it has come in handy. My only gripe about my 2012 Escape is that the side mirrors don't fold flat and I have already had to have one of my side mirrors replaced (I live on a narrow street and I'm sure a bicyclist or a vehicle got too close and broke my mirror).

Thanks for the review. Was helpful with my decision making. I would get the Titanium with the 401A package and probably would leave out the rest of the extras like sunroof, etc. which would place me around $32,000. Question: According to the Ford website, horsepower numbers are gained with Premium fuel. Did you use Premium fuel for the test drive? Was impressed with the acceleration you had with the Escape.

*Yes I know comparing two cars in two different categories is generally seen as a no-no, however here I go* I honestly think that the Ford Escape vs a Toyota Prius. I’m possibly buying a 2014 Escape Titanium with the EcoBoost 2.0l 4 cylinder, I love how they look and Handle similar to a car , I love my 2011 Ford Focus SeS but it’s getting a little too small for my family, if I do end up buying the escape I’m keeping my little Focus as I have way too much money put into it with a few performance modifications such as a FsWorks Cold Air intake, FsWorks Coilover suspension, NuSpeed sway Bar kit , NuSpeed under the hood strut tower brace , FsWorks Turbo kit with inner cooler, a Modified Cobb Exhaust system (originally made for a Subaru ) the Ford Escape is pretty much a Bigger 3rd generation Focus with a taller ride height and all wheel drive, if I buy the escape am I going to mod it? Of course I’m a Ford Guy and still young.

I am personally kinda torn between this, the CX-5 and the Forester, I know the Rav4 and Hyundai Tuscon has a poorly steering panel as looked at the IIHS Small Overlap Front, the Escapes, and CX-5 looks much more sturdier and doesn't intrude as much. The Forester obviously takes the best award for safety. However, I am not too sure about reliability with the Escape, CX-5 and Forester, The Honda CR-V looks a bit bland and the Small Overlap seem the worst according to video. Any sugestions? Thanks!

Yup...I got my ford escape 2014 in January 2019 and full package titanium with 75k one owner old man 👍 in Winter Park Florida... Like new inside and outside no accidents and that miles he put was because he drove to North Caroline but other than that I'm so happy with it... I got mine for $14k January 2019 with 75k miles but in 4 months I drove mine 3 hours to my old job which I'm not longer drive it no more because of the distance and now 06/22/2019 it has 96k and so far the only problem i have is that I change the transmission mount and I did it myself it was super easy and now i will change the motor mount which is easy too.... This small SUV is my every day ride and i only drive it around my house and I don't take long drives because my job is 14 minutes away from home and everything else I need is around my house... This small SUV is super good and i can't complain. In fact some guy at work told me something that I didn't like... He said i drive a ford and he asume Ford's car crash easier ... 😱😬 what ever he mean by that fuck him... I know his car is super nice and he drives a 2017 honda civic type R ... screw him I'm 42 y/o I'm not 25 y/o like him and my payments are $300 and $100 for full cover and i know his payments are way higher than mine...
