LSPIs can happen from Lugging your engine. Which it sounds like you're doing. Lugging is when you floor it at a low RPM, it overworks your engine. You should always be at least at 2500rpms or higher before you floor it in any gear. It's especially bad for turbo'd cars.

no it does not only with a shit tune with a standard car never the electronic throttle does not allow 100 percent open below 3500 rpm a shit tune does

@@JM-vu1bk well this is about a fiesta not a toyo or alything the electronic throttle doesnt allow 100% till 4k rpm?😂😂get it from me, im a tuner

@@JM-vu1bk no but a shit tune allows 100% throttle at 1500rpm thats the main cause of lspi it can accure always but thats really the main one my tunes allow 85% throttle at 3.5 and 100% throttle at 4k than lspi can accure so much less than a tuner that allows it from 1.5k why you think dord allows it on a stock engine at 3.5k? To make sure lspi doesnt accure always…

@@elianderson3956 shit even 2,500 I’ll still get negative ignition corrections like -6. Around 2,800rpms in any gear is when you should floor it.

@@evanshaw4371 they do dyno testing and data logs at 2500 Rpms in 3rd and if ur getting that big of negative corr on wot at 2500 then you have a problem!!! If ur running a ots tune drop it ASAP and I’d recommend looking into that bc that’s way to high

Modern gasoline engines are absolutely piece of clunkers! Too high specific power (over 100HP per liter) on small turbocharged and direct gasoline injection with exhaust gas recirculation and 0W20 water-like oil that fills combustion chamber full of absolutely shit carbon buildup that increase compression ratio and create also hotspots igniting gasoline for compression like in a diesel.

Using a higher quality of oil like amsoil prevents lspi.

Did you re-map the ECU? or used any tuner?
@fluffymat12 жыл бұрын
Do release this is the mappers fault for letting the car going full throttle at low rpm, a good mapper won’t let the happen they would give 60/70 at 2500 rpm.
@wilsonwong85602 жыл бұрын
Mapping may affect but many of stock ecoboost engines suffered LSPI. look at Eocboost in Taiwan, Disaster !
@fordyford2 жыл бұрын
This is not "the mappers fault". Flooring it in 5th gear from 2000rpm is unfortunately the drivers fault. I think he has since realised the issue.
