Good idiea with putting a sheet of paper under the cabin filter Phillip, those chevy trucks have a braided body to frame ground in behind the plastic wheel well on the left side that rot away and makes your elec steering and dash go poop. my Seirra did that to me ,I thought I had checked all the grounds but of coarse murphy's law says different .

@@PhillipBailey it was on a 2019 GMC ,but your right it was on the rh side , a braided cable that went to the body I remember taking the plastic wheel well off and it was rotted , my 1991 GMC had a ground as well just below the heater hose as well that went to the frame, it was never hooked up ,sorry about that Phillip .

Had that same issue I’m pretty sure it had grounds on both sides driver and passenger side

Gm's have had similar issues for decades.. I used to have an 88 cheyenne pick up. I would try to use the wipers and the radio would shut off or the windows would go down..
