⁠@@Nickyy64 well F1 stalls alsoeasy and they still do it. Indycar even has a antistall feature in their cars which is totally forbidden in F1. Standing starts are extremely hard on the clutch also and Indycar is about simple parts and cost cutting. That’s the main reason for rolling starts.

They used to do standing starts in Champ Car races from 2007-2008 but INDYCAR did it for 2 years (2013-2014) but stopped after all of the mess at the Indy GP 2014.
