Very sad he is not even appearing in the news in his own country. I'm from spain and I feel really ashamed about that. He is the best inspiration for the kids, probably the best spanish athlete ever seen, he is already a legend out of his country. But look the way he answers the questions of all people who wanted...this is a lesson of humbling that all other sport stars should note. No big mansions, dozens of expensive cars, insane highly cost jewelry. My sincere respect for him.

You're damn right Xavier. Doing 100 miles on a hard course and taking the time to answer anyone question is amazing. This is why I enjoy running so much because of guys like him. There is something specific to endurance sport. Nobody would ever look down on anyone. Something that you don't really see in other sports.

I like how humble Killian is. He genuinely seems to be more interested in how everyone else is doing than the fact that he just set a new CR.

By far the best running interview ever, mostly because it really was a horrible interview...really got to see the real Killian. What a humble and kind super-man. And how weird to have him under all those lights and pestered with silly questions so soon after killing the course record and running 100 miles! What a bizarre treat to get to see this awkward and eye-opening moment. Thanks for capturing this...still can not believe this guy is for real. He just ran up McKinnley in under 12 hours and then turned around and ran Hardrock this fast and still basically is abut as tired as I am after a 20 miler!!!!!!! Man I wish I could have been there asking questions...what an inspiration.

Unreal amount of grace and poise after blasting out 100 miles of trail. I have an idea he is so humble about all of this because of his childhood, and talent. Mountain guiding is hard work. Doing it is likely more difficult than trail racing. What's more, a lifetime of fitness makes this seem like, "Eh, no big deal."

His comment on the point of the race where he decided he could make the record: 9:59 "... and then, it's just a marathon left..."

Kudos to Kilian for putting up with all that crap from the interviewers in such a polite manner. But wtf is up with all of them it was like listening to a bunch of hormonal teenagers at comic con getting a private meeting with Stan Lee, I couldn't tell if they wanted to giggle like girls or suck him off. Kilian is a genuine athlete with a humbling manner who has so much more to offer in conversation that the usual crap about what part of the race etc. If they had simply bothered to just talk to the guy he would of probably mentioned a few spots in the race which he loved and hated. I guess they were all more concerned with being able to get a winning quote for whatever journal they write for than for actually appreciating the spirit of the race.

He is awesome, but it felt that he rather go change and rest. Really slow questions flow.

Pobres tontos.
