Hey hey man, love it. Thanks for posting this. I've read your replies and posts on the forums... Not sure why so many people say this isn't possible. Lol, makes perfect sense to me and I'll be doing this to a 2019 wk2 trailhawk 👊

You should check out Chief Products. Very good protection. I run their Lower front guard, sump protection plate, transmission protection plate, the full Mopar protection plates and a diesel aluminum protection panel underneath, plus Mopar Rock Rails, with air suspension and offroad adventure II package, with air suspension. Mine has a 3.0 diesel, too. 2015, w/ about 53,000 miles. Take it off road a lot in northern Michigan (US), where I have a cabin on the Manistee River.
@Archangel06304 жыл бұрын
What is the diesel aluminum protection panel you're referring too? I myself have a 2018 Trailhawk CRD and want to make sure I'm not missing some protection. Would that happen to be the DEF plate you're referring too? I might have removed the tank, but did decide to leave the plate to hopefully catch before my exhaust/rear bumper get destroyed. I have all the other plates you mentioned and agree Chief products are well made.

@@Archangel0630 On US versions of 2915 Jeep Grand Cherokee EvoDiesel 4x4 there is an area underneath the vehicle that runs underneath, parallel to the unibody rails on the passenger side -- this is where the DEF line is situated. I installed a "Shield Products" DEF protection plate, but it would not fit with my Mopar factory rock rails. So, I had my mechanic hammer the 3/16 in. plate flat and install it as a somewhat wider panel/protection plate. This keeps sticks and other stuff from snagging the DEF line while traveling off road. So far, so good!

HI! Wanted to ask. Is there any sence also adding a spacer under the rear airstrud and then even larger spacers under the rear shocks to compensate the added hight on the airstrud? Or it works just perfect with only spacers for shocks?
@krisdwight783 жыл бұрын
Do you have to send all the gas to the reservoir before you unhook the air lines to install the spacers? I'm getting very close to doing this mod on my 2015 but I want to make sure I have all the info before I start, thanks! Great videos btw

Yes, ideally use scantool or AlfaOBD to empty airbag to reservoir before disconnecting.

Hey Daniel, awesome video. I'm looking to do the same 2in strut lift on my quadralift WK2, did you need to get longer links or did you have to change the air links (the link that connects to the ride height adjustment mechanism?)

Very hardy SUV and reliable !! I have a request if you are in contact with representatives of a Jeep, then tell them for Russia they made the most reliable jeep! There is one Jeep Grand Cherokee in 2013 with a 3.6 engine, it has a mileage of almost 800,000 thousand kilometers or 497,096,954 thousand miles !! Not a problem except a broken gearbox !!

What wheels and the wheel offset you use with the 33in tires? I'm looking to do this in a couple weeks on my 2018 Trailhawk.

Nevermind, had I rewatched the video again before asking I would have had my answer. Or at least the info to find my answer. I've probably read you write up and watched the video many times getting ready to do this myself. Hoping to fit 33x12.5r18 with a +30 offset wheel.

Another question, will your QL lift work on an American Grand Cherokee?
@DanielDjuracic4 жыл бұрын
@@brandoncoe1666 Im planning on removing one of the rear spacers so might do that in a future video. AlfaOBD is pretty easy to use but yeah, ill try and put together a video for it. No reason the lift wont work on American WK2.

Daniel Djuracic I, too, would enjoy a video showing more details regarding your suspension additions. I'm looking to do this very soon to my '18 Trailhawk. Also, what changes were made in AlfaOBD? Numbers per wheel, etc. Thanks!
@XSPAINTshop4 жыл бұрын
Got my vote for making a vid on what perimeters you changed in AlfaOBD to change the ride height. Im currently in the middle of a similar project and almost messed up the AirRide by not fully understanding how AlfaOBD worked with its. Luckily I was able to get it functional and back to stock but now will wait to pull the trigger on 33's till I know for sure how to deflate the bags correctly (install spacers) and adjust ride height.

What happens when you put this into OR2 ride hight, having the strut spacers in, does it not screw with the vehicle when it tries to lift a further 2.5"?
@DanielDjuracic3 жыл бұрын
When i go to OR2, it goes up another 2 inches. No, it does not screw with the vehicle. OR2 will be approx 1 inch higher than normal OR2 and with 1 inch more down travel than normal OR2.
@glennr78733 жыл бұрын
@@DanielDjuracic what about the angles of the drive shafts etc..are they not going to be over extended?
@DanielDjuracic3 жыл бұрын
@@glennr7873 They are the same angles as a 2inch spacer lift on coil springs. I have 70k kms with lift (170k kms total) and no CV issues. With my setup OR2 gives me a total of 3 inches from the stock height. There are people running 3inch lifts on daily drivers, with quadralift, OR2 is only needed very rarely.
@glennr78733 жыл бұрын
@@DanielDjuracic right, that makes sense, I used alphaOBD to lift mine 1" above standard, but when I went into OR2 , the vehicle didn't know it was already lifted and would continually try to lift until the compressor overheated

@@DanielDjuracic Curious about the software you used to control QL. Does it just reset sensor to zero? Why not adjustable links? Sorry about all the questions but you are the first I have seen to do this. Thanks for the reply. Subscribed.

@The Reaper Overall spacer lift is 2inches. I have set the software to raise 1inch higher than stock. If i go to Offroad2 then height is 3inch above stock. But CV angle is never more than 2inch lift.

@@celicaguy81 I use the software to change the factory air suspension offsets. Changing the software is easier than a adjusting adjustable links and i like the OEM look.

@The Reaper No reason you couldn't use spacers with LLAMS system for more droop and reduced topping out when in a lifted setting. The LLAMS just adjusts where the computer thinks the suspension is. I adjust mine using AlfaOBD.
