$42k sounds a lot. But if you equip any car (eg Civic, Accord, Camry,etc) with that much options, it will be close to $35k easily. So in that perspective, $42k is about right. In addition, Kia usually gives large rebates.

that may be the case but if you want to carry a large family around CX-9 has a lot more space. Its wheel base is almost 7 inches longer and is about 16.5 16.6 inches longer overall.

You can get a Santa Fe V6...same engine. But the Sorento offers a higher, more expensive trim level.

42k plus tax title and license. depending on your interest your looking at almost 50k. i bought a 2013 ml350 benz for 58k.

Though the Mazda drives better, the interior on the Sorento is leaps and bounds above the CX-9 both in quality and modern amenities.

Nice review,but I wonder how many drivers will be able to discern any weakness with the steering, as long as the car isolates them from the road and elements, they'll feel like they're driving a premium vehicle.

In the US market the Santa Fe is cheaper. Yes you lose the V6 but the Turbo 4 has decent power.

Wait until you see the 2016 Kia Sorento. It's even better. The new Sorento will be in line with the Hyundai Santa Fe and Santa Fe Sport. The two Sorento will have two engines (regular 4 and turbo 4ylinder) and the three row Sorento will only have a V6.

Can you get into the 3rd row from the drivers side? 42K the rate this will TANK in resale value will be jaw dropping! The space with the 3rd row up is useless.

The last sorento steering was great but every other kia hyundai have awful sloppy dangerous steering. I also find their engines unrefined as well as transmissions. Ya they both make sexy LOOKING cars with good features but actually driving them sucks

$420000 r u fucking kidding me???? Its a kia with hard plastic dash cheap materials and will depreciate so quick! For $42000 you can buy alot better
