Hmmm, comparing this to a standard lotus elise SC it is just a bit too harsh. Not at slower speeds but at cruising speed on chip seal, quite harsh. But the standard one with the standard dampeners and touring pack is much easier to live with.

Is there any way to get those seats? I like to reduce the weight of my car :)

They are the standard Elise seats without all the fabric and painted. A good trim shop should be able to make copies at less than the price of the ones from Lotus.

0 to 60 is quoted by lotus as 4.2 seconds for the std elise S , the club racer is about 30kg lighter....i am told

Nope, the 2ZZ GE got dropped when EURO 5 standards came in. It simply didn't meet them. Truth is the basic Engine is similar to the Prius but it is a ever so slightly different head. Both 2ZR engines I think.

In Toyota speak anytime a "G" is used in a engine code its a performance minded design like 18RG, 2ZZGE. You probably already know this. Nice video.
