This is such a massive upgrade over the previous Tipo M139. I love my Quattroporte, but this vehicle does far more right than the old one did. The one disappointing thing about this generation is the engine selection and sound - the Tipo M139 QPs had the 4.2 and 4.7L V8s, where these are had in either a V6 or low displacement V8, and while the numbers are excellent, they just don’t sound like the previous QP. Still, maybe I’ll add one to my garage at some point, although the GranTurismo is still a helluva car after all these years too!

Wow , this was a huge disappointment.The rear looks cheap,the interior lacks that luxury touch to it,the centre console is..well it is nothing actually,its just exactly like the 7 series but extremely shallow : how BMW could squeeze that 4 zone climate and still have a huge console over 5 years ago,I don't know.And,maybe I missed that part,but where are the heated or ventilated seats?(again maybe I missed),and these door hinges..so cheap,they could have gone for a magnet system like BMW and MB have.I would definitely choose the 7 series or the S class over this any day.
