uwu Well actually when you play the violin you first start by plucking and then during that period you form calluses if you haven’t played that piece for a long time then it’ll really only sting and probably get red Edit: I realized this after I posted it but I got lazy to edit it lmao but the plucking is like for a dominant hand and the one you were referring to was the one he actually played the strings with and like basically it hurts at first but after you keep practicing you do eventually get calluses and then it stops hurting lmao

@@aurelionsol6258 I am not a musician but Im a twoset subscriber. Still, I disagree wth them when they judged henry using a classical musician std. His performance 'smooth criminal' is not a classic and doesnt even have a music sheet. It was his own arrangement. At one point he was accused of pre recording his performance and for d same performance some pro violinist said he was out of tune. At that time he was still under SM. Do you think SM will let an out- of -tune pre recorded performance to b aired? My conclusion is, pro violinists rarely have anything good to say about violinists who play other genre than classical. Sorry twoset, I like classical music bcoz of you guys but you need to know that many of your fans are not classical musicians. I just enjoy good music and good performance.

However, what ruins this for me is that the notes are clearly out of tune. You have a point that SM wouldn’t play a bad sounding pre-recorded sound, that’s obviously stupid. I don’t mean to spread hate, I’m just saying that his playing isn’t exactly up to par. Of course, this is because my ears are trained as a musician. It is indeed impressive that this performance is not something you can find on sheet music, it’s something entirely different. I agree that he has talent, but this performance didn’t exactly work for me. The reason why they didn’t exactly look at it from another perspective is because they are classically trained violinists, they play classical music, not pop. Like me, they can hear the bad notes and this ruins the performance for us, but to those who don’t hear them, I can’t just go up to them and say ‘This guy is trash.’ I believe he has talent, but as a musician, this time he didn’t play well. But if you like him, I cannot and WILL NOT stop you. It’s your decision to make, not mine.

Chanmi Han Henry was never in Super Junior. He debuted in Super Junior M alongside fellow Chinese SJM member Zhou Mi. Hangeng was the only Chinese member of Super Junior but he left in 2009/2010 due to differences with SM. Henry and Zhou Mi were considered as possible additions to SJ but due to Always 13 fan opposition, they were only put in SJM.

If you're a new fan, or just a fan of Henry or even not an ELF at all, it would be easy to say negative things against ELF during those days but Situations play a very important role here, the situation is entirely different now from before. SUJU debuted as a project group which means ANYTIME SM can change the members, (SJ was treated like trash before. SM even said that they were a group of persons they just needed to debut because they already have contracts with them and not because they intended to) as ELFs of course we don't want any replacement, our oppas dream are very important and as much as possible we wanted to protect that, when Henry and Zhou Mi were first introduced, there is that fear among the fans that one of the members will be replaced that is why some of them opposed. (I believe that is the most acceptable reason for ONLY 13 before that's why I tried to understand those ELFs) Even Kyuhyun who joined the group last was not that welcomed at first because of replacement fear. If you're a true ELF you would know this kind of situations, the struggles before are truly different from now. Our fandom has gone through a lot, we have experienced so many set backs even until now but with no doubt HENRY and ZHOU MI are very much loved today. Seeing Chinese members of SM Town leaving the group and so on, HR and ZM did a very good job in hanging on and not giving up considering how they were hated before and I believe SJ member's strong love and support for them made it possible. ^_^ PS: I LOVE Henry and Zhou Mi starting from the day they were introduced by SM.

you probably came here after the twoset video lmao. i agree that he is out of tune but he can still play and his technique is still pretty good imo, i believe that if he were able to practice more, he would have done a much better performance. however he has said many times before that he isn’t able to focus on classical music as much as he wants to, and he can’t practice a lot because of his hectic schedule. he is out of tune, but to a person who doesn’t play an instrument it will sound good to them, his range is still a bit tolerable to those who do play.

As a TwoSet fan (legit came here after their vid to hear for myself), it's not THAT out of tune. Probably not noticeable to whoever is here for the entertainment value he brings. However it is very noticeable for those who are classically trained. I can see the technique he uses, even if a bit rusty now. Maybe at one point he was a great violinist, but now that he's an idol, he doesn't have time to practice anymore. If he did, I'm sure he'll improve. #lingling40hours
