Not sure if you will see this, but I'm a newish driver for about 1 year now, I've only driven manuals with an normal handbrake, not an electronic, does the electronic handbrake automatically disengage when you start to move forward?

It does on most cars but not on some, for instance Audis only disengage when you set off if you have your seat belt fastened

Yes it would be a great first car, but the insurance may be cost prohibitive i would get some quotes first

Why you dropping it in neutral way before you are about to stop, you ain’t letting the engine revs go down naturally

Letting the engine go down “naturally” puts more wear on everything from the engine, engine mountings, gearbox, diff, wheel bearings right down to the tyres, where as if its safe to “coast” no wear and slow down due to cars weight, drag/wind resistance

So I just bought an a class and I’m a new driver. I don’t understand how to do a hill start without rolling back as it only has a parking brake.. help is appreciated.

Just do as you would do with a handbrake, balance the accelerator/clutch till you feel the biting point where the car feels like its weightless and wont roll back, then let the parking brake off, until you get used to it, it may come off with a jolt so make sure you have plenty of room to the car in front

My cars a C Class coupe Auto, if I give my brake peddle a firm push after a halt it says “Hold” on the instrument panel, I don’t know unfortunately what cars manuals or models have that feature

Hi Barrie! I got a deal to change my 2006 Audi A3 2.0 tdi dsg to a facelift 2017 Mercedes A180d 7g automatic with a lot of features and equipment. So I have looked the whole internet about thia car and engine, but most of the people were not so satisfied. What do you reccomend?

i like the Mercedes, having worked for them in the past I know they have as good build quality and reliability as anyone else, and the new A Class is a good looking car that's very nice to drive, we sell plenty of used Mercs and we don't have any problems

Hi barrie! I just got offered to change my Audi A1 2012 1.2 petrol to a Mercedes-Benz A180 2013 1.5 diesel, i went to check the reviews and alot of people said they are not satisfied, what would you say i should do? thanks and great video

@@CHmachine don't get the 1.5 diesel it's it's renault engine and dosent suit the car id rather have the 1.8 or 2.1 diesel
