Everything looked good until that rear camera install. Why not gut out the stock camera housing and mount the Kenwood camera in it for a cleaner install?

Great question! This vehicle did not come with the normal factory backup camera that is usually housed in a large plastic housing. It used this bracket with a much larger, clunkier, lower resolution camera. We opted to use the existing bracket as it was very robust and provided a great view for our client. Thanks for watching!

How is the camera when driving at night?

We have installed tons of these cameras and they perform very well at night. Upgrading your reverse bulbs to LED help you see even better at night with it.

How are maps updated ?

The maps are updated through Garmin. You need to download an app on your computer to update the maps.
