Just bought a 2014 Porsche Panamera Turbo Executive. I've owned 4 Mercedes, 2 Lexus, 2 Jaguars ( a 2011 XJL and a 2012 XJL Supercharged). I was one of those people that said I would never pay almost 200k for a car... um.. well that changed after the salesman took me on a test drive and I felt this thing hug the road like there was glue on the wheels! Man this thing is a beast! If you want a St. Regis ride, get the S Class or Lexus. Want a sport sedan that turns heads, get the Jaguar... what a race car that happens to have 4 doors and will blow the doors off a Lamborghini or Ferrari and make the owners wonder why they purchased cars they have to have transported to get an oil change? Buy the Panamera. I can't say enough about this car. Honestly, my Jag was prettier... but the fit and finish were NOTHING like this car. It's as if its all one piece of metal! And drive it down the street and most have no clue that its a 150k plus vehicle.. That is until they are still at the stop light and you're two blocks ahead of them...lol

I've seen many Panamera Turbo videos before, but I don't remember its exhaust sounding this good.

Still not a fan of this car, but a few things are super cool! First is that killer read interior. The other is that awesome sounding exhaust. Did you see the exhaust shot with the moving piece? What do you suppose that is? Some sort of adjustable baffle?

A couple of yrs ago I was at a local eatery and outside was this brand new Pana Turbo S and inside the restaurant was this really old couple and sure enough, when they finished eating they got into their Porsche and left. Soon after we left as well and got into my old Toyota and drove off at the proper speed and soon we caught up to the Porsche, doing about 15 miles under the limit, being passed by every thing on the road and I thought to myself, what a waste of automotive perfection being driven like a slug by these old folks.

That's the problem with wealthy old folks, brilliant car yet awful in the sense you buy a Porsche for its performance not for trotting around town in. Well said sir!

drenchedinreverb my God you are dumb. Did you not understand the point of the story? The old man is not driving that car the way it's ment to be driven, I realize its not a sports car, but that guy could have saved himself a lot buying a Cadillac. Poor Porsche

You are right not everyone is broke and not everyone is smart either. I'm sorry if you did not understand my comment as you obviously did not agree with the original one. the Porsche panamera turbo is not exactly cheap, so I'm not exactly sure what the old man was thinking buying that car. Hopefully the guy hits the gas pedal more the 25% at least once lol. Kind of breaking the legs of a thoroughbred.
