very cool. I have the EcoDiesel and there is NO battery gauge because of the DEF gauge. I went out to the truck and sure enough I found these extra gauges and put one as my trans temp and other as battery! TY!

That's one reason why I've always liked Chrysler products - they seem to have a history of having a complete gauge package. My work truck (2015 Ford Superduty) doesn't even have a way to show battery voltage!

So how do you get in the setting. To be able to adjust headlight on with wiper, set headlight exit timer

I do not know about the headlight on with timer part, but the exit timer is through the "radio" U-connect system. I have a 2021 1500 Classic (still 4th Gen), and I would presume that if you have the U-connect system on yours, you can set the headlight exit timer in there. Me personally, I set mine to turn them off when the truck is.

Roger de Pass I’m sure you discovered it a long time ago but for people who find themselves wondering the same thing, from the screen that tells you to hit the right arrow button, hit the up/down arrows instead and navigate to the speed screen. (just had to find this for a rental)

shadowthebestone Yes. The brightness is controlled by the dimmer switch next to the headlamp controls. There isn't a way to completely turn the display off, however.

Why do some display the battery voltage in the display. It's usually in the same area as were the trans temp is. My 2014 1500 displays the same as the one you showed no battery voltage but I see many that do show that info. Didn't know if it had to do with trim level as I have the limited edition with the 4 corner air suspension. Any help would be appreciated thanks, Josh Anderson

Josh Anderson Hello Josh, My name is Josh from Community Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, RAM here in Martinsville, IN to help answer your question. Now, this can be two different issues, so let's tackle them separately. Ok, first of all, if you are asking about the digital voltmeter that can be displayed in the 7-inch reconfigurable LCD display, that gauge is only available in the trucks that have the Cummins Diesel Engine. The reason being is the gasoline engine cluster has the physical analog gauge and the diesel trucks do not. The diesel cluster has a DEF gauge where the Coolant gauge is in a gas truck, which moved the coolant gauge to the Voltmeter gauge location. That being said, the diesel trucks have the option to display the voltmeter gauge in the 7-inch reconfigurable LCD display as an "Upper Gauge" or a "Lower Gauge". Now, if you are asking about the actual physical analog gauge, to the best of my knowledge, all trucks that have the gasoline engine (your 1500) and the premium reconfigurable MultiView display, the gauges are all the same. +Josh Anderson My 2014 ram 2500 6.7 doesn't have the battery voltage gauge, so I put it in that EVIC display. I have a laramie. I think the 6.7's have the coolant temperature gauge where your Battery voltage gauge is.

I believe the connectors are different, but I could be mistaken. We had some one asking about that, and either the connections are different, or it needs the newer computer.

Is it normal for the range mileage to go down while the truck is running on standby mode ?

Yes. Especially on dealer lot vehicles. Their mileage computers are always jacked up from sitting, idling, hyper short distance driving (50-300ft) and such. Once it’s reset and a normal drive occurs, it goes to normal.

Chances are very slim. The Express trim doesn’t have that option and can’t be retrofitted.

Omg really. Try the big round dial that controls every interior light in the truck. Below headlights auto/on/off/running lights. Go get that Ford. You've earned it
