Congrats on another fantastic victory at Speedgoat, Sage! You are a true inspiration. I had a quick question about your UD belt that you changed out at the top of the first climb (around mile 9): what do you carry in that belt when you are racing? And did you changed to a new belt just because it is faster to have a 2nd one filled and ready to go at the aid station or was there some other reason?

Thanks! I think it is faster if you have a crew ready to give you a fresh one restocked! I have UD flask bottles filled with Vfuels, then salt pills, gin-gins, and Nuun tabs. in the other pockets.

Hey Sage! What's your favorite Hoka shoe so far? Which shoes do you prefer for training? Do you prefer the clifton or the huaka for racing? Great video!

Huaka on the trails more (I've worn in every race this year)...but the Clifton is growing on me!
