Question, I have a 2014 teryx 4 , it started not wanting to idle and when you press the gas anything past 1/4 throttle it Boggs no power! I’ve put a new fuel pump assy NO CHANGE! Have you or anyone you know had and FIXED this issue?
@brooke141002 жыл бұрын
My 2015 was doing the same thing. Ended up being plugs! Two new plugs Ana she was good!

@@brooke14100 that’s exactly what it was! Spark plug was fouled in the forward cylinder. As soon as I pulled it out it was still wet with fuel! I put 2 new plugs and it now idle’s and has power when I step on the gas! The only thing I still have is if I’m at idle and go to step in the pedal just barely there engine has just a little hesitation then takes off. I’ll have to figure out that issue. It’s not all the time just sometimes!

instead of cutting the pipe, could you come in from the the end and knock it out with a screwdriver/hammer? just curious. Thank you!

No, unfortunately you can't

Access to everything on the T4 is a pain. Even the belt. The whole 9 yards (2:59), is a full exhaust system. Big gun evo dual pipe with a big gun fuel programmer. Big gun makes a great set up for the Teryx 4. Good vid.

Good video. I’m wanting to remove my converters from my 2020 Teryx4. Question. Would it be better / easier to remove the skid plates or center console / floor boards to remove the exhaust pipe from the engine. Thanks in advance.
@rightcoastoffroad3 жыл бұрын
On a t4 I would remove the rear floorboard, center console and the Skid plate to get to everything

@@rightcoastoffroad I have everything unbolted but can’t fit the header pipe out the back or the bottom. Should I remove rear floor board to get it out?

I used a hole saw on the rear cat two minutes it was gone. Front did like you did. I went one step further and cut the small tube in the muffler out left the baffle plates in.even more throttle response and power feels great. I have a 17. T2 thanks

THANK YOU!!! I did not know it had two converters, good thing I watched your vid. Ended up wrapping my exhaust while I was at it.

Once you cut the second cat off could you send a wire up to the first one and dig it out? To avoid having to cut then resend it up?

I'm sure someone could find out a way, but that stuff is really hard......would be tough to find something strong enough that is also flexible enough.

Great video. Im going to wait until 1-26-2021. Kawasaki is releasing 3 new models. Teryx4 1000 is what I'm hoping for!

I think you will see a KRX 1000 4 seater, a Teryx 4 1000 (64 wide) and a Teryx 2 1000 (64 wide). Lets just say a little birdy told me so 😉
