Perfect video. Just an update tho. I did this on a 2015 sienna se. Everything was the same as what he showed in his video except on the rear trim piece. There isn’t a Christmas tree plug on this model. There is small snap that is released by lifting up a little on the bottom of the trim. Then while lifting pry the whole thing forward to release it. Of course I was trying to do it the way he said and pop the front of the trim out first. Resulting in breaking the plastic plug that retains the trim. The back piece slid out fine. Even with it broke the rear slide and the snap on the bottom still holds it in place. All in all great video, and it was simple to change.

Good to have feedback. Might help to know the difference from 2014 to 2015, but my son has a 2015 and I think it was the same. So, pictures would help - I'm a visual learner, so not sure where the " Christmas tree plug" is a reference to. Still, when doing this kind of thing, one needs to look carefully at the parts as you work them out. Thanks!

Thanks for the video. Very helpful. I'm trying to get a replacement piece for far back window bracket that holds the black cable. But im having a hard time finding it. Do you know the name of that piece or even the size screw because thats really the only piece i need to complete the job. I know it takes a 10mm socket but want to know the size bolt i need connect it.

will the door open manually after the power is disconnected? good tip on the rear trim piece! moist of the other videos I watched they broke that rear trim piece that slides forward by not releasing the forward plug first then sliding the trim forward.

I believe so. If a fuse blew you could still use the door. If the motor and cables are removed, it would function just like the models that had only manual doors, so easier because there is less friction of the motor parts.

Where did you buy the part? Dealer wants $80 for it but I see people got it for $30

Probably, but the part is so cheap, it would be foolish to not replace it.
