It's interesting to see all these people talking about how bad these guys are when in the description it clearly says AMATEUR DOUBLES. If it were an Open Doubles final you might have a point but the Amateur ranking is one of middle rankings, far from being Master or Elite class. Oh yeah, Scott, if you're reading this, I totally stole that shot that you did at 7:12 with that little hitch in there. Usually good for at least one point, so thanks for the idea.

My partner and I played on the Million dollar brown tops with TS balls in the mid 70's. We should have gone pro. Theses guys are pretty good, but I think we would have smoked them. We did a lot more passing, pinching and bank shots, front and back. Fast and furious. I haven't played in 38 years. I enjoyed this game very much. This is the first video I've watched. I'll check out some more.

It's a different game now.. banks aren't as effective as they used to be, though with the most recent rendition of the tornado table, they have made them a bit more effective... Pinching doesn't work at all given the stubbiness of the balls, if you mean what I think you do by pinching... Passing is still very effective and a good goalie will definitely utilize the pass when available to feed his forward...

Hi Cory. I forgot that I left a comment here. lol. I not sure what pinching means today. I guess I was more or less referring to ball control. On the ancient Garlando glass top tables, there's no way you could grab on to a ball. Most of your shots were on a roll. When the brown tops came out, that was a game changer. A whole different way of playing the game. Please stop spinning you rods like a madman!! hahahah. I stopped by and checked out your YT channel. You are an accomplished player. I noticed the corners of these new tables are slanted instead of ramps. Pretty cool. The first table I ever played on cost a dime and had a plastic bubble over it. Yea.. I'm a old fart. Have a great week friend.

Why is there 13 players? I've always played on standard tables, what is the reason for this? Thanks.

Wow, these are professionals? I played in '80's with a pro who would absolutely destroy these guys. Are bank shots illegal on the pro tour? The pull shots these guys are doing are slow and have zero power. Am I missing something?
@ApriliaRacer149 жыл бұрын
I would absolutely clean those lads up. Been a long time since I've seen pull shots that slow.

Foosball has always felt like a nightmare to me, you can't leave it even though you hate it.

I would hate to see these guys against the Europeans. I was in Germany for 8 years and they are unbelievable when it comes to Foosball. The table even looks different. There is only 1 goalie instead of 3.

17:55 wasn't legal. From a restart, the ball must touch two men and then you must wait a second. As soon as it touched your second man you shot. Poor form. Goalie wanted to say something but had too much class, you can see it on his face though.

Listen closely. While the camera is off the table the ready protocol is initiated and you hear the ball passed back and forth before the camera is back on the table.
@confucheese9 жыл бұрын
It may have been a bit early, but an incredible shot none the less, I doubt it would've been blocked had he waited the full second.
@josephlong78449 жыл бұрын
You all are probably correct, but I was just feeling assholish that day, apparently. Incredible shot, I think not, but a decent rolling pullshot was executed well, I'll grant that.
@Stellarffxi8 жыл бұрын
Assuming he didn't kick the ball back and forth while off camera, it was indeed illegal. Doesn't matter how nice of a shot it was, the defense may have been waiting for that second to clear in order to really take form.. And it was an ok shot...

Why the hell is there three goalkeepers
@andrewwilson14188 жыл бұрын
+COOKIE Kingston Because the table top is a totally flat surface. Without the two extra men in the goal area you would not be able to retrieve the ball in those areas of the table without reaching in and using your hands all the time. The older tables had sloped corners in the goal area so the ball would roll out of those areas and one man in the middle was all that was needed.
@Stellarffxi8 жыл бұрын
better question is why the hell was there ever only one... and a curved playing surface... not only does it look stupid, it plays horrible!

This is actually something people play for a living??? Wtf wtf wtf wtf neeeeeerrrrdddsss
@Klos1neMN8 жыл бұрын
Joey Farwell I don't know where you got your information but I can't think of one top ranked players in any country that plays for a living. Tony Spredeman, one of the best players in the world and top in the U.S. works as a roofer. Everybody who plays on tour has a day job. So, just as anybody could say whatever hobby that you do in your spare time is nerdy as well it could also just be pointed out that your opinion on this is completely incorrect.

no... no one plays for a living.. they play competitively and for fun, but there's not enough money in it to make a living off solely foosball... unless you're Spredeman or Collignon.. those are only two I'm aware of who might do it for a living...
