I have a 2014 sri cdti ecoflex model...2.0 litre....163 bhp.... literally just had the dpf filter removed and had it remapped as the filter had caused it to over heat 3 times in the 5 and half years of owning the car....never gone wrong otherwise....the remap has taken it to 200bhp with 430nm oc torque....it's like a different car....had to borrow a car while mine was getting fixed and I'm so glad to have it back....it's fantastic on fuel, spacious and comfortable to drive...👌

Have one of these in black, have it year and a half but mine has a satnav, excellent car I love it. Plenty quick, very economical. Service mine every 8 thousand miles. Got it valeted recently and the guys broke the satnav, supposed to be getting it fixed tomorrow, mine is 140 BHP though

140 BHP sounds like the 1.4 petrol turbo. I've got that engine as well but in a GTC. Never had any trouble from my Vauxhall and the seats are the most comfortable I've had in a car. It's just a bit tricky getting in and out of mine in confined spaces because the doors are huge but that doesn't apply to the Insignia which is a 4 door.

@@friendlyhorseuk7220 No it's a 2.0 CDTI 140 Bhp with 350 NM torque and over boost of 380 NM for 15 seconds when you floor the throttle. Even on the log book it's 140 BHP. I didn't know this facelift model came in 130 bhp I knew the older one did but facelift was upgraded to 140. Great car though

What a lovely Vauxhall Insignia. It's very sad to know now that this beautiful insignia like this one will not longer be able to drive in London due to the so called ULEZ regulations which will require owners of 2014 Insignias like this, to be liable to pay this money grabbing daily £12.50 so called emissions charge. This because diesel cars 2014 downwards are liable to pay to drive in certain parts of London and in October, extending to all parts of London as far as outer London counties. Thank you Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, for making the life of Londoners and non Londoners difficult!!!! This particular 2.0 CDTI Sri diesel Vauxhall is now not worth much in London now because no one wants diesel cars 2014 and below due to this unfair so called ULEZ charge!!!!! On the other hand, the 1.8 litre petrol engine Vauxhall Insignias which are much slower. less beautiful and less fun than the 2.0 CDTi Insignias, are going for ridiculously expensive prices due to demand/supply issues ie more people are looking to buy petrol than diesel cars 2014 and older!!!!

Had a Network Q Insignia Elite quickly moved on out of warranty as they'd spent 5 Grand on it in 12 months, the most problematic car I've had in decades.

electric boot release bollocks it is a gas strut only.

The boot catch is an electric switch,

Edward it is an electric switch, not a lever and it also opens from the key without touching the boot at all. You are confusing electric boot release which is what it is, with power open/close, and you are also resorting to insults. Anyhow i hope that clears the matter up for you
