Everytime I need to remember why I joined guard, I watch this performance. Everything about it is so beautiful and inspiring. Outstanding show, moving audio, breathtaking performance.

It definitely makes the sore muscles and bruises from our equipment, and long days under the hot sun or in the dead of winter worth it.

My deepest gratitudes to this colorguard for such a spectacular use of emotion and conveying such an important message. You did a marvelous job that I saw part of my childhood in your show. I am now a big fan of your guard. Greetings from Las Vegas. Keep up the fabulous work. I'm sharing this on all my social media because of the artistic use of grace, coordination and beauty and human tragedy.

This show leaves me speechless and crying. Personally I have a large birthmark covering a good portion of my cheek, it's so wonderful to know that I'm not alone. I understand the idea of feeling ugly, and being told to brush it off. I feel the pains of being called a freak for a feature I cannot control. While I don't have children, my brothers at the age of four call me beautiful, not regarding my purple birthmark, but my entire self. Color guard is such a wonderful place. My coaches and teams have never once asked me to cover it, in fact my team enjoys trying to glitter it. This show, color guard, all of it makes me feel more comfortable in my own skin. And I'm so happy that I stumbled across this show.

Do you know if this audio, or at least part of it, is in another winter gaurd show? Im looking for one that is about bullying or something along those lines. It had a nuetral color floor and the girls spelt the name of the show with their bodies on it.

I know everyone is saying it's a beautiful show. And that's because they picked a beautiful poem. It's by shayne koyzan but i can't remember the name he write beautiful poems. They are filled with emotion and always make me feel something. He wrote another poem called beethoven. I love that one too
@matthewwhaley8747 жыл бұрын
GrarGirl yes, it's a beautiful poem. It is called "To this day." However, their interpretation and performance is also beautiful. Art builds upon art, just as any other guard uses music. It inspired me to use poetry in my own writing. Check out POW Percussion 2016 for another great example of using poetry on WGI.
