Did your wiring harness mate up on the drivers side. I just swapped my 17 Tahoe bench for 15 gmc Yukon captain seats and the drivers side plug did not match but passenger side did.

What year do you have? I'm about to buy a 2016 Cadillac Escalade but its a bench and I wanted the captian as well. The dealer mentioned I might be able to do that but wasn't sure it was possible.. I tried calling my local Cadillac showroom but they were no help and a few body shops I called said it "should work" but weren't sure..

@@scottmiller3776 worked on the one we had. Had a little part of carpet missing in between the captains chairs but nothing a good floor mat couldnt fix

nice tutorial only one thing.. i would of removed the 3rd row seating and brought the bench in from the back tailgate probably much easier than squeezing it thru the door

Definitely not… tried that, either way the bench seat is extremely heavy

@XWhxte actually just did mine last weekend. Put a moving blanket under seat. Got in and pulled blanket forward and popped seat into place too maybe 30 seconds and didn't risk banging up door panel

Question: is the bench seat you swapped is from short escalade or ESV???? And will ESV bench seat will fit non ESV model????

The big difference between esv and short model is trunk space. So it’s fit.

From what I've been told the ESV seats were not fit the standard escalade. Just like the Tahoe seats will not fit the Yukon XL and the suburban. Long wheelbase vehicles need to be replaced with long wheelbase seats ​@@yanlin1590

My wife and I use the SUV a lot with the rear seats folded down. It’s annoying to only have 2 extra rear seats whenever it’s down. It’s nice to have a second row bench for added seating capacity.
