Little tip for anyone working on a truck more than a year old (or whoever lives where things get rusty!)- it's always easier to leave the hangers mounted on the exhaust and just unbolt them unbolt from the frame. With the exhaust laying on the ground, you can pop the hangers right off and bolt them back onto the frame. In my opinion, of course!

At the first flange where the y-pipe comes together, Ford squeezes it down to 2.5". Best to use a resonator delete pipe that is 3in flange and pipe all the way and just put on a different rear muffler if you want it louder.
