Alex Smith deserves allot of credit for starting the return to a championship team. He is underrated and is a winner and. class act. I don't blame the Chiefs for getting Mahomes, but Smith was instrumental in helping turn things around. I have the utmost respect with him.

Totally agree about Alex Smith. Mahomes himself said that he learned so much from Smith and that he respected the heck out of him! Alex Smith will always have a special place in my heart as a lifelong Chiefs fan for everything he did, especially mentoring the young Mahomes.
