2015 Audi Q5 Starter Removal and inspection.

Customer came and complaint that the oil light came on, then the car smoked. I think its because of too much oil making car smokes :). Then it stalled out and tried to start again (i d k how many tries) and it will not start. Upon checking i found that he killed the starter, i tried jumping it from relay and even jump directly from starter while its mounted and still nothing. Watch the video to the end and i will give you and idea how to jump it.

Universal join and a long extension. Also once u remove the exhaust u will have a better picture

@@DRBauto 3 hours away from me. I’m having issues car won’t start, the EPC light have been coming on for a month on and off. I tried keep turning on, then smoke and bad smell came from under the car. I drive 2011 Audi Q5 3.2.

When I push in the key to start all I hear is a simple click coming from the starter I believe. The car turns on, horn, lights AC radio everything works. Just won’t start. 150k miles. I changed the fuel pump about a month ago.

@@NightOwl718 Be sure that u have a good battery voltage. Sometimes a weak battery can cause this issue. When u are sure that battery is good then it is fair to say that starter is possibly bad.
