Markus Meier the problem it has: the proportions are off, WAY off. what works for the XC90 doesn't always work on other cars and Audi shows that it doesn't for cars like the Q7, the designers are too blind to see that.

Fabio op 't Hoog Audi is always a bit too conservative with the exterieur design - at least for my taste. But then, I think the new Mercedes GLE isnt outstanding neither, nor is the BMW X5. In the SUV segment, I dont see too many differences in the exterieur. So it is overall a matter of personal taste. If you like the Audi, go for it! [Jan]

Hey Mr Z! Another great review. Can you tell me if anyone of you tested the back seats while driving over a road bump? Thats what put me off the old Q7 it is like a rolla costa on speed bumps. Also would you happen to know when ncap will be testing this vehicle? The old one didnt really do very well, it was a fake image, i.e looking tough but actually being as good as butter in a collision. Would be interested to know the new Q7 ncap rating, or maybe Ausfahrt.tv will do independant crash tests in the future?

anythingyouwant29 I did sit in the back indeed. But not long enough to give you a reliable feedback. I assume that you will have much better comfort in the rear once you order the air suspension. Maybe you can check this yourself at your local dealer. And hopefully we never crash any cars :) I have no information when we will see the ncap rating for the new Q7, but I do believe that Audi was very eager during the development to do better with this model. Sam K Thanks, and yes, we had the allwheel drive option. I did not drive one without, but it felt pretty wow indeed. Plus, you reduce the turning radius by one meter. But I had the feeling that it enables the Q7 to do the cornering in a more sporty way. [Jan]

Das einzige was mir nicht wirklich gefällt an dem Wagen ist der Grill, aber da sollte das Glanzpaket schwarz Abhilfe schaffen. Ich denke so ein SQ7 mit einem über 400 PS und über 900 NM starken V8 TDI mit kaum einem Turboloch dank E-Lader könnte richtig porno werden.

Ausfahrt.tv I know it is - when Audi came out with it - it was all over the news about the Dept of Transportation banning it - I'm sorry but the Germans know what they are doing - The Big 3 in Detroit SUCK if you ask me - I personally drive a Honda because American sucks so bad and Tesla is trying to get forced out by the Big 3 because they are scared once the Tesla Model 3 comes out with a projected $35k price point and 200+ mile range they are really going to freak. There are several states that don't allow you to buy a Tesla and if you live in one of those states you'll have to drive to a state that allows the sale to happen which could be a random empty parking lot or field someplace rather than door service. Sorry this doesn't really pertain to the headlights but it just showcases how bad we are over here
