I'm sorry, but is this Drum and Bugle Corp or is it Drum, Bugle and Singing Corp? The singing, no matter how great it was, has absolutely n place in a DCI performance. I love the Crusaders, but not when they ruin the performance with singing.

I mean I don’t think singing is illegal but yes a lot of times when corps have someone singing it doesn’t sound great. I think it’s because instruments are much more in tune than the human voice. What do you think about bluecoats 2018 tho?

@@colersen Thanks for your response. I was surprised the Bluecoats started a DCI world championship with singing, and not very good singing. After I suffered through the singing which I hated, the corps sounded great, terrific horn work, the drum line is excellent and the maneuvers were really good. Then what happens? Singing again. I gave up and stopped watching when that happened. It sounded like ti wasn't live that's how bad it was. Too bad they have directors that think singing belongs. Without the singing, the corps is fantastic. What did you think and do you have any idea what the judges think of singing? Thanks.

@@randycolaianni4937 ok so there’s a part in session 44 where there’s a tuba solo and her singing. THAT PART is amazing and I love it. Towards the end she’s holding a Bb and the horn-line is playing a Bb chord, and she sounds way out of tune. But overall yes I agree I don’t think singers belong in dci

@@colersen Thanks for your thoughts. I tried listening again and fast forwarded through the second singing fiasco, and behold, there's even more singing. I am astonished that there is so much singing in here, ridiculous. This was 2018, I am not sure I am even interested in listening to the next several years but will try. If I hear signing in 2019, 2020, etc. I will not listen to this corps again. Pathetic.
