From the front you can tell from a mile away that its a Cadillac. The rest of the body is where they flopped at in my opinion. The side of it reminds me of a Toyota 4 runner and the rear is as if they copied off of the 1st generation srx. Love the interior. I think its cool how they finally listened to their customers and made a selectable 4wd/awd system.

ONE THING I DONT LIKE ABOUT THIS TRUCK.. Is that im not behind the wheel. WOW this is one beautiful SUV. I love that GM has made their own path and not following in the footsteps of another suv. Cadillac has become a world class vehicle even better than some of the German offerings

BIG FAIL. One it replaces was far better looking. The nose isnt bad, the interior is well done, but the rest of it has a strange sort of wagon/minivan profile about it. Too long, too square and too low. The dimensions are all wrong. Especially the rear with the high taillamps, terrible. They really screwed this one up. The 2007- 2013 Escalade, especially the Platinum edition, looked awesome. In fact, why the hell didnt they at least keep the fender vents? FAIL

It's going to take a good while for me to get used to those back lights, but overall, it's a very good looking Lux. SUV! Looking at this reminds me of how much Lincoln screwed up it's Navigator!

Remember the days when the navigator was a true director competitor to this. Lincoln has really fallen off the map. I'm surprised that they still make the navigator. I don't think I've ever seen a late model navigator on the road.

chigasaki06 I surely remember.. The Navi. it still a very good SUV.. I can't take that away from them, but as far as, being a true competitor among the top in the Luxury SUV segment, it's sort of far fetched now...however, the EB. TT. V6 Engine is still a good move by Lincoln.

Order this straight from the factory custom made to change the high up tail lamp design. the should have kept the the same length as the previous one and put a little bit more muscle design like Mercedes and BMW does.

The long vertical LED on it's tail, look better on Caddy's cars... The tail of this escalade could have been better, so it'll take time to grow on me. It's predecessor is a lot better looking in my opinion.

I own sooooo many cadillacs, and cadillac never lost its edge, at first i didnt like the escalade, but now i change my mind... every cadillac being built is amazing. But they do need to bring back the sts sls brougham and deville... i have a sclass mercedes nd i rather drive my cadillac over the sclass

I will be honest I love the Cadillac Escalade. I had a 2000 and a 2006 EXT. If you think about it and look at the 2015 Chevy Tahoe and GMC Yukon Denali. Same body as the Escalade and I tell ya the new Denali pretty much is the new Escalade. I rather go with the 2015 Yukon Denali or get me a 2014 Escalade as most dealers in Chicago area are chopping the price cuz of the new ones.

This truck is beautiful. Not something I'd plan to own because of the ridiculous overpricing. So when most people say the truck is ugly, they mainly have been turned off by the price tag. Really don't understand what gm is trying to achieve with such low quality materials

I know...Can't get power steps unless you go for the $82K premium package then its a $1600 option. Crazy thing is it's an option on the $62K Tahoe, and the Yukon, so why not the $72K base or the $76K luxury Escalades? Should be standard on all Escalades...come on GM!

So sad 3/4 of the people in these comments have absolutely no taste because GM is going to sell a lot of these escalade and yes the design is really well done. It just take a couple months to acomodate new styles. In a couple years were all gonna look at the 2014 and say it was ugly beside this one.

I saw one of these the other night. I do in fact like the LED headlights but the running lights in the back are UGLY. WAY too long. They over did it with that one. At least the 2012 era Escalade had nice tail lights.

Too much shared with the Tahoe & Suburban for me to really look at this as a luxury SUV. Its not special and the terrible looking wood, steering wheel mounted shifter, dash and entertainment center looks cheap and tacky; this clearly is no Range.

Yeah, if you saw the comment I posted about it looking weird, you'd get my opinion. I think the front end looks like a fucked up GMC Yukon, don't quote me on that. But the back, it looks ugly. It looks like a GMC Yukon (the Yukon has similar looking headlamps and LED tail lamps), a Honda CRV, and a Volvo XC70 combined together to make the rear end of a car look all fucked up. One of the most surprising things that they did to the CTS, they added LED turn signals in the front, about a month ago I see the new Escalade on the road turning, what surprised me was that Cadillac didn't change the front turn signals to LED's because other luxury brands did that (e.g. Audi Q7, back when it was introduced in 2007, it had front incandescent turn signals separate from the regular headlamp unit (same with the Escalade) and I think it was 2010 the front turn signals were changed to LED's).
