It always made sense. You can buy a v6 charger for $8500 cash. You can find engines with trans for $5k where I’m from. So basically a Scat for around $15k .

It depends really I mean they say it's just easier trading in your v6 one for a v8 used challenger charger. You know how much other stuff you gotta do. I'm sure this guy in the video did a lot more to it to get a v8 than he described. I know for a fact you need a new back axel new brakes new cpu all new wiring harnesses for your new engine a new transmission a differential Guarantee you that this guy went through a lot just to switch to a v8. Thier ain't no way. It's just easier to trade in the v6 for the v8. You can probably go to those surplus vehicle places get the brakes. I know those bigger brakes that come on a v8 ain't cheap probably more than used v8 engine best places are surplus places or junkyard.

@@mrnemesis3871 yup. There’s a lot he didn’t add. When you go from 3.6L to 6.4L you have to change literally everything including the dashboard in most circumstances. It’s best to flip your 3.6 into a 5.7 then do the swap with that platform since all you’d have to change is the engine, transmission, rear end, and brakes.

@@Stillpaiddunkkwn the answer is to get a v8 version then swap scat in because of all the extras the v6 doesn’t have and even then the 6.4 isn’t better than the 5.7 in terms of cheaper modding and both engines can reach 900+ with better trans n low end built.

Honestly there’s a lot that goes in to swaps that a lot of people don’t say but your definitely going to have to swap out that whole drivetrain and axle to support a hemi and I believe the exhaust and down pipes will also have to factor in to the swap. I’ve done a lot of research cause I’m trying swap mines lol

I refuse to believe somebody spent $20k to do a 392 swap. You can find used Scatpacks for $25k out here in Cali. Ain’t no way. This is probably a $5k job as long as the customer provided all the parts needed for the swap.

@@AyeTeedo nah, the pink slip would say it's a V6 if that's the case. Scats are cheap. The 392 swaps out here are like $10k, but I think they're strikers. Do your research. You can find a real Scatpack for the low out here in Cali.
