Kyle, I know you have a 2015 Mustang video already waiting to be uploaded, so I'm not going to bother asking. I would really enjoy watching your review on some 2015 Hyundai models. Such as the Sonata, Elantra, and Genesis/Eqouis. Hyundai looks so beautiful now, it's amazing how big the Korean industry is becoming! They're like the new Japan! Anyway, thanks Kyle if you read this. Great review as always.

These trucks sound a lot better in person. I've driven both the 4 and 6 cyl versions as well as the manual version, and I have to say I'm really impressed by the truck. Everyone needs to realize that having the fully loaded versions of everything isn't all that important. If it gets the job done it gets the job done.

I think these are great trucks judging by what I've seen so far. My dad bought the last gen Canyon new with the off road package and the 3.7 i5 it has about 90k miles on it so far and has been solid, especially during the winter. Great everyday truck

At my work we have two of these, of this generation, both are 2022 models in the 1LT trim, with the 4 cylinder engine and they are 2WD. They are work trucks, used for deliveries and they get used a lot and hard, one has 105,000 miles and the other has 89,000 miles. Personally I prefer this 2015 Colorado Z71 V6 or the new 2024 Z71 Colorado.

Very thorough, balanced, and great quality review. (I'm a professional video producer and I appreciate your attention to detail, especially as a 1-man band. 99%+ of the videos out there are practically UNWATCHABLE). I just purchased this identical vehicle (took delivery a couple of weeks ago) and I love it! I wish you're video would have been available before I ordered it, but even watching after purchase, I learned a few things and it reinforced my decision. Keep up the good work

Jared Eaves Yeah, I didn't talk about it for this one and just decided to focus on the gas options as it's all that's available at the moment. I'm sure I'll do the diesel when they come out.

Right now, it's just Chevrolet press talk. I'll believe it when I see it. If Chevrolet wants to bring something that I'll surely buy, it would the Chevrolet Montana 1.3 Litre Turbo Diesel. That's probably not going to happen either... The American automotive industry is screwed up in terms of choices... lots more in Europe by comparison, like the Volkswagen Amarok 2.0 Litre TDI and the Great Wall Wingle, which are comparable trucks to the Chevrolet Colorado.
@jeadelmann9010 жыл бұрын
Theodore Thorpe Well we do have very strict emissions in the States and that probably plays into the equation... in addition to traditional disdain some Americans have toward diesel engines...

I bought a 2015 Colorado same trim as this one. Had it for 15 months and traded it in. Biggest pet peeve was the 3.6 motor. Under powered and laggy. The longer I spent in the cabin the more I hated it. Cheap plastics and seats uncomfortable. Love the exterior styling though.

Great review. The exhaust sound is similar to that of a lawn mower, which is weird considering it's the 3.6L V6, the same V6 used in the SRX that we currently have on a lease.

For a truck, the interior is very nice. I think it's a very sharp looking truck. The exhaust note is kinda.. meh. I think the height is the perfect balance between ground clearance and usability. 4 wheel disc brakes is nice. I'd opt for the V6, longer bed and towing package personally. Looks promising, but time will tell how reliable and durable they are. Looking forward to what Ford comes up with in the new US Ranger to compete in the segment. Even though the Ranger remained mostly unchanged for many years, it's known to be a very durable, reliable truck. I have a 2011 that I bought new three years ago and it has been flawless and has been excellent at work, commute, travel and play.

This and the Canyon are nice trucks and I seriously thought about buying a canyon, but I didn't for a few reasons. First off I couldn't get that comfortable in the driver's seat due to the steering column, next with the seat adjusted comfortably for me there is no room in the back seat, the back seat has too little headroom, and the seat sits too straight up. Lastly the transmission is jerky when down shifting and tends to lug the engine. I don't think I would have any problems with it if I was less than six feet tall.

The Colorado looks cool. I bet a small V-8 would get decent gas mileage, with MUCH more HP and performance. The high revving V-6's are weak in the performance department. And I agree, the exhaust sounds horrible. Kind of like a bad exhaust leak.

Appearantly, some GM vehicles get a bad rap about reliability. My DD is a Silverado with over 400,000 miles without a single service. My dad used to race a Camaro with about 200k on a different engine that he bought with 90k original miles. It also never had a service. I guess servicing your GM vehicle reduces its lifetime by ~100k miles.
