Finally a REAL in depth review of this model- thank you. Very close to buying this same model here soon 🔥

Five years later, every time I see the rear of an 8G Malibu, I wish I had one. No V6 in the US, but the 2L turbo was available on LTZ 2LZ AND LT 3LT. Not enough power in naturally aspirated 4s. Great video!

I have a 2.5L 2014 Malibu LS. Maybe it’s because I had a slow Nissan Sentra before, but the 2.5L feels more than adequate for the size of the car. I drive pretty aggressively and it keeps up. My biggest gripe driving it is that the transmission tends to get confused and shifts poorly in heavy traffic.
@markkinney1721 Жыл бұрын
@@raiderfly I test drove both size 4 cylinder Malibus in 2016 for replacement of my V6 Eclipse. The bigger one seemed more than adequate, but when I drove off in the Mitsubishi I realized they weren't even close. I ended up with a Honda EX-L which I drove for 7 years up to almost 100K miles.
@raiderfly Жыл бұрын
@@markkinney1721 Idk. I’m a college student so the 2.5L is fine enough for me. Just wish the car would stop with other problems

I just bought this car with ramadan offers in dubai. 2.4L LTZ prem. Im comfortable with this car rather than the others in the midsize class. Thanks to your reviews!

Let me tell you, having a softer suspension on a long car trip (3 hours or more) becomes a god-given blessing. One thing I hate about my Toyota is the sporty suspension on long trips. It fatigues you.
@AutoReviewCom9 жыл бұрын
I agree though for me a sporty suspension and fun while driving is more important as I don't drive long trips. If I would drive every day 100km or more I would take a more comfortable car.

I didn't know they had a V6 in that model i thought they just had the 2.0 Turbo which very quick

I Hate General Motors Didn't Get That Specific Malibu Bodystyle A 3.0 Or A 3.6 V6 In The USA
@dexterjackson55134 жыл бұрын
But the 2.0 is quick almost like the V6 . i know what u mean tho it would've been nice if the offered it in the US. Don't understand why all the cars we what in the US aren't sold here don't make sense to me
@AutoReviewCom4 жыл бұрын
Don’t think about what makes sense, German cars in the UAE are way cheaper than back home in Germany, despite shipping cost to the Middle East! Ridiculous!

The reason why i'd go for a 3.6L v6 is that its a lot more powerful than the 3.0.

+Jenna An you do realize that car manufacturers build various models for the different markets. Take the Honda Civic as example, it's being sold as two totally different versions in the Arabic and the European market.

Stop playing around and pay attention to DRIVING.
@AutoReviewCom10 жыл бұрын
Thanks for your comment. I do both, reviewing a car while driving and not pointing out what I mean would be a little useless I guess. And I am usually doing the driving on roads with less raffia on days when it is more quiet.
