2015 Chevy Spark MyLink Radio Install

This just shows it is possible to upgrade your base model Chevrolet Spark from its plain radio to the My Link Model with bluetooth, aux, and apple play. A huge upgrade. Unfortunately, they are locked to the vin number. Thankfully, with guides from PhiSlammaCamera and Kris Kasprzak, with an EEPROM Programmer, it is possible to get the radio to work! With the radio you will need:
Radio Bezel (the bezels are different since the radios are different shapes)
My Link Aux and USB female connector with wire
EEPROM USB Programmer
Thermal Paste (For EEPROM Programmer, the radio needs to be disassembled. Some reapplication of thermal paste to heat sink be needed)

What did you end up doing to get the Mylink radio to fit with the original trim?

You will need the specific trim that fits the mylink radio. I was able to sell the old one on ebay. It fits the same way.

Can you upgrade it to the current Chevy infotainment screen?

When we had the car, I never attempted to update the firmware. At best, it gave us bluetooth functionality in addition to aux.
