2015 Dodge Journey no start key not detected on dash

The antenna to the car is under the cup holder compartment under the radio too. That's why the cars that are Chrysler and dodge have issues with the antenna or remote control. Can be the battery or the antenna. The closer the key to the antenna the better signal it'll get to turn on

Tried this, putting the key to the button but still nothing. Control works just fine my car lights up just like the video. Wondering if it's the starter or something else. So frustrating. So for me it works only if I hit the unlock button first then put it in the cup holder, the key fob has to have battery and still work to unlock and lock the car for this to work in my experience, hope this helped you cause it really fucking helped me

@@davidorozco510 thanks but the fob is damaged my dad must have broke it trying to replace the battery. Expensive mistake. Update 12/9/2023 took the Battery clip from another FOB and put it in my Dad's FOB fixed it.
