I have the same as this with resonator delete as well, cold starts cackle and sound amazing. But there is a couple seconds of clap or bad rattle or bad sound when you drive and give throttle after shifting gears, I don't know what's causing that sound, only did it when I took off the resonators. So hoping either replace the restrictive ypipe after the converters or add a muffler. But I dont wanna lose the cackle and awesome loud tone it has , I love a rumble but some bark and cackle is nice too, just not that clapped out old truck sound lol does it worse when it's not fully warmed up and I drive away from my house , once it warms up alot it aiunds better at high rpm. It's almost a bad sound in between the low and high rpm range. High rpm isn't bad and low is good room its just in between

Had the same thing done locally for $100. Keep the resonators on and it's not that loud at all. Sounds great when you get on it. Nice and quiet during normal driving conditions. No drone at all and sounds good in eco mode.

Yup, I did the exact same thing to my 2015 Hemi. Cut out the mufflers, had a Y-pipe welded in they're place, and left the resonators on.....sounds bad ass. NO muffler matches the sound. Easily the best $300 I've ever spent

I bought a blacked out 2017 ram 6 months ago. Im in love but its sound is sooo neutered. I got all this power under the hood yet it makes NO NOISE. Its really sad that trucks today are sold totally neutered. Untapped sound, untapped horsepower...so much left to wonder.....This spring I have 3 mods i want done, the first is a muffler delete or swap. Its just so simple to go from quiet to grumbling rumbling monster. Afterall, the swap/delete is just unleashing whats already there...

@@mobkinq no nothing additional. I haven't gotten a CEL once or any type of idling or acceleration issues, just a straight swap. I know Rams are notorious for their PCMs and having problems accepting bolt ons but the Y delete didn't give me any issues. I'm not sure about flowmasters but I can't imagine they'd through a CEL if my straight Y didn't.

What she doesn't realize is that the next truck that I purchase is definitely going to be loud! Lol! In my honest opinion, I think the Hemi with a Super 44 sounds nice and smooth.

I did the same thing on my 2013 Ram along with the 6.4 mopar cam swap and a “max” 87 tune. I got a 106hp and 73tq pick up for cheap. Stock is 405hp so I’m at 511hp for less than a grand.
