2015 F150 2H Vacuum / IWE Fail Grind 1

4x4 system no longer disengaging, in 2H, causing grinding and vibration noises.

I had the same issue on my 07, I replaced the check valve on the vacuum line near the solenoid. It’s been fine since.

It sounds like the 4x4 actuator. I just replaced mine today.

Mine did that I changed out the vacuum hose set fixed it. If it doesn't I think the actuator can leak too so change the hub. Might as well change out the axle while you're in there too.

Same problem here went to the dealer 5 times they say that i I’m the problem my truck has humming noise and vibration that is getting worse with the time now i leaking oil in the front differential probably due to the vibration i put a camera and the front axles are spinning all the time in 2wd

Same issue on my 2011. Sounds like a vacuum leak or grinding noise when changing throttle. Have you found out what really causing it ? Thanks

They never found root cause. Replaced the hubs again and it’s been good for a year so far.

Mine sounds like a tire noise
